Alright, guys.
Opened my Noun Hound Game the 18th.
So, whoever thinks they have the right
answer has 'til tonight to p-mail me.
Then I'm closin' this puppy up (or down).

I've only gotten two pups that have
sent me p-mails and they are:

*Ruby Dust - awesome N H player.

*Chester - brand new pal.

Congrats, you're both right!

Alright. I didn't want to play, but I "rethunk" it and
said what the heck!!
I got the answer right to Wyoming's Noun Hound
Game so now it's my turn.

Here's what I'm supposed to do.
I have to give 4 clues to an animal, place, or thing.
You pups are suppose to guess what it is.
The first 3 that guess right get a rosette from me.
Now, you can't give the answer in the comments.
You have to send me a paw-mail with your answer.

Here goes nothin'.

*I live in the Mojave, Sonoran, Chihuahuan and
southern Great Basin deserts.

*My extreme quickness allows me to snatch
humming birds or dragonflies from midair.

*During the winter months, many of us succumb
to freezing, icy weather.

*I prefer walking or running (up to 17 miles per

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the pups
with the correct answers have to make one of
their own. I'll be posting the winners in my
diary later on.

My sister, Sparkee

We've been pretty sad here. Sparkee crossed the Bridge
Thursday. Seems she had a stroke or somethin' like that.
I gotta say that she was a good pup. With all us crazies
here, she never got mad at any of us. She had all kinda
reasons to but she never did. When treats were bein'
handed out, she was always happy to be last in line. And
if she dropped her treat and someone else got it, she never
got upset. She just let them have it. She was always in
the background and that's the way she wanted it. She
was always in the bedroom on her doggie bed. She never
bothered anyone. In fact, we don't even remember her
gettin' mad, not once!
Mom wrote somethin' in her diary if you'd like to go
to her page and read it.

Yep, you were a good one, Sparkee. The best.
I love you.

We will miss you, sis.

Me! A Diary Pick!

Mom got on the computer kinda late today and guess what
she saw? Several gifts next to my name. She figured
something was up. And guess what it was?
Yep. I'm one of Today's Diary Picks! Little ol' me! Cool!
That always makes my mom jump for joy - when one of
us gets an honor like this. She gets happy knowing that
lots of pups and people are gonna see my handsome face
up there. That's what she calls me. Her handsome boy.

Gosh, I love that woman!

I would like to take this time to thank:

Kirby, that tomato hatin' pup who lives not too far from me.
Love that BB-Q full of steaks!

Pippin & Petey, those little pugdudes who have their own
personal wheels (strollers). Love that Blue Ribbon!

Winston & Family, that family - mama and boys - of very
dignified, lovely English Pointers. Love that cool
refreshing Grape Drink!

Ava, that cute little bathing beauty with the long legs. Love
that Red Ribbon!

Vayla & Family, those sweet German Shorthaired
Pointers and of course the honorary GHP, Joey.
Love that Beach Ball! Cooper might pop it, though.

Whale Wars

Sunday night mom was watching Whale Wars on
Animal Planet. Usually she doesn't watch stuff like
this 'cause she's afraid some animal might get killed
(that puts her in a blue funk real quick). Then she
remembered a friend said he's never seen that
happen on this show. Soooo, she watched it aaaand
the one time she decided to watch it . . . the whales
were getting harpooned and killed!!!!! OMD!!!
She had to cover her eyes but too late - she saw the
poor whale suffering and taking soooo long to die.
All that blood! OMD!! She couldn't stop the tears
from falling.

Why do people do this? Why do some people have
no heart? Why can some people kill something and
it doesn't bother them whatsoever? How can they
cut up something that was alive 20 minutes ago like
they're cutting up a piece of paper?
How can anyone kill ANY animal?
Is something wrong with this type of people?
Were they born with something missing?

Then there's the others. The ones that have a tender
heart to the extreme. The ones that care too much.
The ones that go around broken-hearted because
they can't forget all the pain that poor, innocent,
defenseless animals go through at the expense of
heartless people.
Is there something wrong with these people that
feel too much? That can't get the images of
suffering animals out of their minds?

God, I hope not. I hope that in this world there
are more of the ones that care too much than the
ones that have no heart.
Sometimes it seems that the heartless ones are
winning and the caring ones are taken as nothing
but a joke.

Yeah, mom's in a major blue funk. Told you so.

Here's my contribution:

During break time at obedience school, two dogs
were talking. One said to the other...

"The thing I hate about obedience school is you learn
ALL this stuff you'll never use in the real world."

We're so disgusted about that b-hole vick being
signed that we don't know what to say.
Mom got a stomach ache when she found out.
Then she got really pissed off!

And vick - he doesn't give a crap!
He's signed and happy.
Nothing's bothering him!!

Don't really know what to title this. . .

My last entry was about the m. v. scandal. If you
can truly call it that. He doesn't act like it was.
He's walking around with his PR people like nothing
ever happened. Riding around in limousines like he's
cool. Like he's the man. Everyone will forgive and
forget his past indiscretions. And I'm sure lots of
people will.

And that's what bothers me. How can people get
past what he did (for years) to those poor, innocent,
defenseless animals? How? I sure can't because
just when I think I've read everything about it, I read
something else that makes me cringe. Something else
that gets my stomach in a knot. Something else that
puts that sad, hurt feeling in my chest. Something else
that makes me cry and think that this world is hopeless.

And what? He'll go back to playing and getting the
big bucks. And what will he have learned? That you
can do anything (bad) and get away with it (more or
less) and go back to what you were doing before with
just a slap on the wrist (what it seemed like) for

I just can't understand (maybe because I'm just the
little guy) why he gets a second chance. Seems to me
that his chance was when he first went into the NFL.
But he blew that one. He blew it big time with his
involvement in dog fighting (dog killing's more
like it). When you blow it like this, that should be
it. No more chances. Nope. Nada. Never. No.
So like I said - why does he deserve a second chance
to go back to where he once was (without the dog
killing - I hope)? Like I've heard before, he never,
ever gave all those animals (whether dogs, bait, or
"family pets") a second chance.
Why can't those higher ups just act like m.v. and
give him some of his own medicine?

'Cause that's what he truly deserves.

Isn't it funny (and I don't mean hahaha funny) that
we're still hurt and crying over those animals he
abused and killed (and we never met a one) and he's
walking around like it doesn't even bother him (it
doesn't, of course) that he killed them in horrific
ways with his own hands. His own hands!

I will be hurt and crying over those animals for a
long time to come because I can't forget them or
will I ever.
I don't want to forget them. I don't want anyone
to forget them. I want them to be remembered.

'Cause that's what They deserve.
