I'm On A Diet....Whaaaaaaaa!!

Well, my Mommy took me and Buddy to the vet. Mommy got some flea treatment from the pet store and it almost killed my Buddy kitty. So...while we were at the Vet, they put me on the scale. I'm to chunky and the doc also saw a rash forming on my body. I'm on a limited ingredient diet now. I only get 3 cookies per day and I only get 3 chewies per week. I really like the food tho. I'm eating Natural Balance, Vennison and Brown Rice. Mom also got me one of the Lamb & Rice things that look like a salami. I love that stuff. I get 1/2 cup of dry food in one bowl and once a day mom gives me 1/2 cup of the yummy lamb & rice stuff.

My Buddy kitty is ok. Mom called the vet the minute Buddy started looking sick. They told her to give Buddy a bath right away and get the stuff off him. When we were at the vet Mommy told them that Buddy and I both need to be on the same flea treatment because Buddy likes to lay on the floor with me sometimes and give me kisses all over my face and ears. Mom was afraid that if Buddy licked the back of my neck that he would get sick on my flea stuff. We are both on Frontline Plus now. Buddy is fine and so am I. YAY...Mommy felt so bad that when she went to get all the special food for me, she bought new toys for us both and got Buddy some kitty treats too. We both got new collars and leads too. Buddy likes to walk on a lead outside with us. He's a really smart kitty.

Well, That's enough for today. I hope you all had a happy and safe 4th of July. I was really scared and didn't eat anything yesterday. Buddy is way more brave than I am. He watched all the fireworks through the window. I tried to watch but got to scared and went to hide behind the sofa.

Hello to ALL my friends!! This weekend all the kids are here. I love it when they all come here. I play and play and play....so does Buddy....until we are all pooped out. Right now I'm napping with Buddy, my kitty, and getting all refreshed for the next round of play. Don't tell anyone but I'm 9 years old now. I get tired a little sooner than I did when I was younger. I still love to chase stuff and play with my toys, my kitty and my kids. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I can't wait til more of you are in my buddy list!!

The weather here is still wild. Mother nature can't decide what she wants. One day it's nice and sunny then from outa nowhere....Thunderstorms.

My kitty, Buddy, and I just look out the window and are praying for summer. When the sun shines through the window onto the floor it makes a nice warm spot for us to sunbathe.

Mom said something about adopting another kitty. There's a mama kitty nextdoor that Mom and her bestfriend rescued. That mama kitty is about to have kittens. I sure hope this new kitty will be as great as my Buddy kitty is.

Well, it's naptime. I'll write more later this week. Everyone pray for Sunshine!!!

The weather is pretty wild today. I'll spend most of my day indoors playing with my kitty friend, Buddy and lounging around watching Animal Planet with my Mom. I gotta rest up today because all the kids will be here this weekend. I love to play with them but they can sure wear a litle dog out. I'm not sure but I think I heard my Mom mention something about a BATH....I have mixed feelings about those. Don't like them when it's happening but I sure feel good when it's all over.

Mom is great. She went shopping the other day and bought Buddy and Me a bunch of cookies and chewies. Buddy doesn't really like the chewies but he still tries to steal them from me. Buddy is a pretty funny guy. I love him BUT...He can't have my chewies!!! Mom usually comes to the rescue and gives him his own kitty treats.

Well, I think I'll take a nap now. I'll keep all my puppy and kitty friends up to date on stuff going on here. I love friends and can't wait to talk to all my new friends!!
