I have been to Heaven – it’s called CARMEL!!!

Dudes, you have GOT to go there! It is the happiest, best, dog friendliest place on earth!

My people started packing the suitcase and I got nervous because that usually means they go away and I stay with strangers. But this time they took me on “vacation” – it rocked. I got to stay in a cottage and I slept ON the bed! I was allowed to sit ON the sofa and since there were no stupid baby gates, I got to sit right UNDER the baby during breakfast. (BTW, breakfast tastes waay better if you catch it before it hits the ground!) There were other dogs staying there and we got to play on the lawn. I got to run around on the beach (my favorite thing ever!) and best of all. . . drum roll please. . . I got to eat in restaurants!!! Seriously, in actual restaurants, well on the outdoor patio but still. They always gave me a bowl of water and once my mom ordered me “hen house chicken strips” and I ate actual chicken from a bowl in an actual restaurant!!! It was soooo cool. The dog next to me got a “quarter hounder” – I’m totally getting that next time. Since from now on, we’re only going to Carmel for vacation. At least I assume that’s true, I mean, why would they go anywhere else? Right?
