Seven Fun Facts About Me!

1. I am not scared of anything, but I do have two arch-nemeses! They are the ironing board and the vacuum cleaner. When I see either one, I jump and bark incessantly. Sometimes I get so close I accidentally bump one of them which makes it move and then I get even more excited.

2. My boyfriend is an Italian greyhound named Rollo who I chase all day long at daycare.

3. I go to daycare every weekday when my parents go to work. I LOVE daycare! I like to play on the slide and in the wading pool with all my best friends.

4. I love all kinds of food. Recently I've developed a fondness for romaine lettuce. When Mommy makes salads for dinner, she gives me the crunchiest bits at the bottom of the leaf. I sit on my stool in the kitchen and wait for these and other treats every night when my parents fix dinner.

5. I don't fetch or play with balls, but I love to chase dogs that do!

6. Everyone loves me and I love everyone! I can't be trusted off-leash in an area near a street because I will run into the street if there's a dog or a person on the other side I want to meet, and last week I hopped in a van with a nice family while the dad was putting his cute little son in his carseat. Mommy came and got me and apologized to the family. Why apologize for getting the opportunity to experience my cuteness?

7. This summer my grandparents are coming to California from Iowa. I can't wait to meet them for the first time.

It's my birthday- gonna party like it's my birthday-gonna eat cake like it's- my birthday...

I'm the big Oh-One today! I overhead Mom and Dad talking about a present but I don't know what it is. I got my hot pink and rhinestone limited edition Buddy Belt and leash set last week, and that was kind of a big deal for Mommy 'cause she's a vegetarian and usually doesn't buy leather. But I 'm pretty sure there's something else coming. I outgrew most of my baby clothes, so maybe I'll get a new outfit!

A Note from Mommy

Hi, everyone! Did you know my first birthday will be six weeks from now? No, you wouldn't because all of my photos are from months ago. I'm really a lot bigger now than I look in the pictures. But my mommy wanted me to let you know that she's gonna upload some pix real soon. She and daddy take pictures of me all the time, so why all the pix on this site are so old is really a mystery.

Anyways, things are cool around here- I got a new bed 'cause I peed on my last one a few times, so mommy got upset and threw it away. Except I peed on the new one last night because when I woke up in the middle of the night, mommy kicked me out of their bed, took me potty, then stuck me in the pen the rest of the night and I did not like that! So mommy took the new bed out of my pen and I don't know if she's gonna wash it or throw it away. It sucks laying on the cold wooden floor all day. I wish mommy and daddy didn't have to work so I could play and snuggle with them all day.
