Greeting my family at the door with kisses; raiding the laundry basket for stuff I can run through the house with (mostly undies & socks); sunbathing in front of the patio door; and believe it or not getting groomed.
Pet-Peeves:
My little sister Sophie; car rides; wet grass, long grass; being ignored; not being able to sleep by my mom; being left alone.
Favorite Toy:
If I had to choose it would be my "Mr. Carrot" squeeky toy. Anything else I can get my mouth around is a close 2nd.
Favorite Food:
I'll eat just about anything I can steal. My mom makes me great scrambled eggs and shares her pizza crusts with me.
Favorite Walk:
I'm not much of a walker. I don't mind an occasional romp in the back 40.
Best Tricks:
So far I can only give 'paw' when it's treat time. I'm pretty stubborn.
Arrival Story:
I guess I was born to a doggy mommy & daddy; hung out with them for a while; then shipped from Kansas to Milwaukee and my mom rescued me from a puppy store. Way to go mom! (My only regret is that you didn't take my little brother too!)
Bio:
As my mommy tells it, she and my daddy were very lonely when their dear cat Carly was taken to 'kitty heaven'. They thought they could be 'pet free', but as the months passed they kept talking about getting a dashie. My mom thought it best to get her hands on as much info about dashies so she went to the local puppy shop to get some books. She got a glimpse of me (and my brother) and as mom tells it - the rest is history. She asked to hold me and I guess I made a pretty good impression because it was only a few hours later that I had a new home and loving family. I guess they love me pretty much because I can pretty much get away with anything - the only exception is now I have to learn to make "nice-nice" with my new sister, Sophie. Oh please! :-)

Trick or treat is fast approaching and I can't wait. My mommy will dress me and my sisters up in our costumes and she'll take our pictures. I'm sure she'll give me a bath this weekend too. I love a good bath. I wonder which costume I'll wear this year. Last year I was an angel, but I haven't been very 'angelic' lately so I might end up wearing the devil costume. Check back next week to see what I ended up dressed as.
