Arrival Story:
I had been looking for a dog for about 3 years and couldn't decide on a breed, but knew I wanted a small dog. I found her on a website. The next day I went to meet her and it was love at first sight. I had no intention of getting her that day, but once I saw her and she came right to me and licked my face I knew I couldn't leave without her. She is the queen of the house and my heart!!!

I am quite the busy body...I love to visit people...I love to be the center of attention, and I can't understand when people don't make a fuss over me. Everytime Mommy and I go some where, I walk up to people to give them a chance to admire me, but when they don't show any interest it upsets me. BUT, when they do make a fuss, I put my best paw forward. I turn on the charm and strut my way into their heart. Mommy says I "perform" for anyone who will pay attention to me. Most of the time it is just me and Mommy at home and I really love her. I follow her everywhere she goes and I love to sleep with her at night under the covers or on her pilllow curled up next to her head so that we can be close. I love my Mommy so much!!!!

Tomorrow is my 2nd birthday! I am not quite sure what that means, but I know it means mommy will give me all sorts of special attention. She has already mentioned going to PetSmart for some new toys and possible a trip to McDonalds for some soft serve vanilla ice favorite!!! Mommy says that she can't believe that I am 2 years old already and that it feels like it was just yesterday that she brought me home and I changed her life!!!

Mommy took me outside yesterday and let me play in the snow. It didn't last very long. I hopped in it for about 30 seconds and then I was begging Mommy to take me back inside. It was sooooo cold and the snow was deeper than I am tall in most places. I had my winter coat on, but I still was too cold. I don't like the cold and being such a little puppy (6 lbs) I get cold fast. Mommy knew that I wouldn't like to be out in the snow, but I was at the door begging to go out. I got my wish and then learned my lesson!!!

I have had such a good time over the last 2 weeks. Mommy and I have been on the go. I have met so many new people and smelled new smells. That "Christmas thing" really wore me out. I was so tired after visiting with all the people and opening up so many presents. Santa was very good to me this year. I have more treats and toys than any other dog out there. I got a new girlie pink and rhinestone collar, which I love, and a couple new pink t-shirts. (if you can't tell, my favorite color is pink!) I got to wear a cool jingle bell collar at all the festivities and I didn't want to take it off! Mommy told me I can wear it next year. Well, guess I should get back to my nap. I hope all the doggies out there had a wonderful holiday season!
