Arrival Story:
I came to Estonia as a US Peace Corps volunteer in 1997. Here I met my wife, and we added a son. Estonia is a great place to live. It's safe; people here celebrate the changing seasons; nature is respected; and, the dog is adored!
Last summer we came to the agreement that we needed a pet. Our large German shepard's passing had been behind us for a year, we wanted our son to grow with a pet, and nothing provides security in Estonia better than a dog.
We researched giant Schnauzers, but there were no litters that peeked our excitement. By chance we saw the similarity of a local litter of Black Russain Terriers.
We saw the perfect otter face, and beautiful eyes, and the rest is history. Now I'm a BRT advocate. They are the best dogs in the WORLD!
