I was picked by my owner, who is my sister's Mom's older sister. But I am a family dog first and foremost.
Bio:
_________________________________ Me: Hello all you dogs, my name is Cinnamon. I will be ten in May, so I am getting into my years. I’m still as tough as ever! Anyway, I am from the pound, just like my sister, and I am a terrier mutt. We do not know what kind of terrier or what my other half is, but you can tell I am tough terrier all the way.
_________________________________ The boss:I am very friendly and social, no doubt about it. I’ll walk right up to a stranger and make friends with them. But when it comes to other dogs, whether it’s at the dog park or on a walk, I am the boss and top dog. Once I chased away a young Great Dane who was about four times bigger than me and was bugging me. I growled and he jumped back and ran away. So dogs- don’t mess with me, even if I am a grumpy old lady!
_________________________________ Playing: Sure, I’m old, but I’m still quite energetic. If you get me wound up I’ll run around as fast as I can (which, I admit, is not very fast anymore) and lick your face. I especially enjoy playing with my younger sister, Pepper. I’ll chase her a ground growling and snarling at her. It’s really fun, even if she’s way faster than me!
_________________________________ Food: Yeah, I like food, what dog doesn’t? Unlike my sister, who is absolutely crazy about any tiny piece of food dropped on the floor and will jump on people to get just a scrap, I am calmer about getting my food. I have a different method- puppy eyes.
_________________________________ Sleeping: I am old, so I need a lot of sleep, especially after playing. I tend to take long naps on the rug or a pillow. I snore, too- A LOT! It really annoys my pack sometimes. But I can’t help it. You can find my sleeping more then you can find my playing, usually.
_________________________________ Television and movies: I usually do not watch television, but my pack often gathers to watch, and I like it when the whole family’s in one room. So I hang out there, and sometimes I actually settle down and watch whatever it is that they’re watching. So far I think I enjoy watching sports the best. It reminds me of my puppy days when I could run and catch balls and jump.
_________________________________ Snorting:Whether you like it or not, I snort. Like a pig, and I do it all the time! My pack often calls me a pig because of it. When I like something, I snort. When I’m sad, I snort. When I’m just laying there, I snort. It’s not my fault!
