Likes:
I love people and chewing on whatever I can get my paws on!

Pet-Peeves:
Don't mess with me when I'm eating, I'll growl but I won't attack. Oh and, please don't touch my feet.

Favorite Toy:
I love to chew on Kongs and Greenies, but if you leave anything else lying around I will play with that and eat it too!

Favorite Food:
I love everything I can find! The only thing I don't like is parsley.

Favorite Walk:
I love to go to Sedgwick County Park, but any walk is great.

Best Tricks:
Doing what I'm told like getting on my bed, or going outside. We are still working on obedience stuff though. I can sit, stay, come, and lay down but I don't know if I will ever master walking on a leash. I love to sniff too much!

Arrival Story:
I was taken as a puppy to the Kansas Humane Society with my littermates and stayed there until I was old enough to be adopted out. My picture was put on their website www.kshumane.org and my mommy fell in love with me and came with my daddy that night to see me and took me home with them the next night. Now I live in a nice house with my family and my big brother Boomer. It's great to be loved!

Little Bit and Family

My poor little puppy heart is breaking into a million pieces. Little Bit, a pal that it seems like I just met yesterday has passed over the Rainbow Bridge. My heart goes out to her family and to Lyle. If I had any rosettes to give I would give them all just to have Little Bit back to talk to. Instead I plan to leave bones in her honor. And, what honor she had. No one and I mean no one had such dignity and grace as Little Bit. She was courageous and brave. She was fiesty and true to herself. I hope that one day I can be half the pup she was. She is the standard.

I'm sorry, I'm so incredibly sorry that she lost her fight w/ lymphoma. It doesn't change my cry though. Die cancer die! We lost a good pup to it, I don't want to lose anyone else. We will keep fighting it.

I'd like to think that I speak for my whole pack when I say she will be missed like no other pup has been missed before. I hope she is happy and safe where she is on the Rainbow Bridge. Watch over us all dear Little Bit and greet us running when we come to meet you. We will count on you to show us the way. But, in the mean time don't forget that we love you and will always keep you near and close to our hearts.

My Tail of Devotion for Dottie Mae

Dottie Mae,

When I saw your picture on the Humane Society's website I couldn't help but want you. Your Daddy said if you were the girl for me then I could have you. You helped me get through a rough patch and I couldn't have asked for a better puppy than you. You will always have a special place in my heart for being the little baby I never had.

I love you Sweet Pea,
Mommy

Mommy and Daddy,

You rescued me. All the reasons you came to the Humane Society to pick me up I'm not sure. Mommy was having a hard time and I know that I made her feel better and at the same time you saved my life. I'm so greatful to have you for my Mommy and Daddy. I owe you my life and in return I will always be your faithful, loving, happy puppy no matter what. I love you both so much!

Dottie Mae
