Had to finish out the year with some attention focused on me. Not to be outdone by Ralphie the goofy puppy, I broke my toe (actually, the dew claw on my front right leg). It cost just about the same as Ralphie's emergency vet visit, but that is because I am a bigger dog requireing more care. My people tell me this was my early Christmas gift (broke it the week before), and sure enough there was nothing but a sticky bun for me for Christmas. Poor poor dog. Glad to report, the toe is healed now, the meds all gone (YUM cheese wrapped pills!), and life goes on as normal. Happy New Year!!!
