Daphne was laid to rest under her favorite oak tree in Healdsburg, Tuesday July 25th, 2006. Daphne, you brought us so much joy and love. We will miss you forever. Daphne was in the pound 9 years ago and had been beaten so badly and was so skiddish that she was considered unadoptable. A woman named Sandy found her, went to great lengths to save her and my ex and I adopted her. She needed an incredible amount of attention but she's had many very happy carefree years since then and is now retired and lounging full time.
