Best Tricks: Fetching and retrieving Arrival Story: Sassy was one of 3 puppies in a sack ready to be put in the river , as this is the old ways in the hill farms.Her mother was small and had given birth to 10 puppies, which were too many for her.I came accross the action totally by mistake, as I had gone outside for a smoke.....and heard the sack whimpering.....I knew I wasn't in the position to take on 3 pups, but I had to save at least one.....and they all looked the same, and I just had a quick moment to choose, so I chose the pup with the white dot on it's ear, the only one out of 10 that had a white dot on its ear.This way I would know sh was the one when it came time to get her home.
