Hi again! It has been a super long time since Mommy has had the chance to write for me. So much has happened since the last entry. I graduated from doggy boot camp! I am a good girl now. I can do all kinds of fun tricks that make Mommy smile. People love to pet and talk to me now. I am not so scared of strangers anymore. I like to walk up to people and say hi. They think I am soooo cute! I love that!!! Guess what?! I have a Daddy now!!! Daddy Kelly moved here from Dallas back in September to be with Mommy and me. Before she came to live with us mommy and I took a few trips there so Daddy and I could bond. I love my Daddy so much! The first time I met her she met me with my very own little pizza! Now she stays home with me during the day. We play, and sit on the porch in the sun, and take lots of naps together. Oh yeah, and sometimes we play with those pesky cats too. Speaking of pesky cats Dixie left. She went to be with her other Mommy. I hope she likes it there. I know that mommy misses her. Then, just last week we all moved into a new place. It is a lot smaller than out old place. We are also missing a person now. That's ok though because Mommy and Daddy are much happier now. They call our new place the tree house. That's because we are so high up and when you sit on the balcony a you have to look though trees to see out. It's co cool! Even though we just moved we have Christmas going in full. We have a tree, and lights everywhere. I think I see something in my stocking too! Hmmm… I wonder what it is…

Well, that's the short version of what's new here, Have a very Merry Christmas everyone! Smell you next year!

Lady and the Tramp: What a fun movie!

Great things have been happening! Mommy's birthday was the 16th and the people at her work gave her all kinds of jackets, shirts, hats, and collars just for me! I modeled all of them for the camera. Can you say SUPERSTAR! Also, I found out that I love the arboretum! Mom took me last weekend and there was so much there to do, and see, and sniff. I got tired so mom had to carry me some of the time, but that didn't stop my sniffer from working! I found a blue lizard, a box turtle, and a pretty moth that looked tasty, but it flew away to fast for me to find out. I hope mom wants to take me there again…
I have been begging mom for weeks and weeks to buy me the movie Lady and the Tramp and finally she did! We watched it together yesterday and I really loved it! There were dogs barking and whimpering and whining. I don't understand why they wouldn't come out and play… I would talk to them and ask them to, but they just stayed behind that window. I think mom liked it too because she was smiling and laughing a lot. Oh, and guess what, I almost forgot to tell you that mom isn't going to send me to doggy boot camp! (Thank you to all you Dogsters who helped her make that decision.) Instead both of us are going to go to school so we can become better at basic commands. Maybe when they teach mom to speak dog we can go to more fun places, and make new friends. Cross your fingers for us!

I was going to be good... I swear!

I can't believe it! Saturday mom took me to be groomed. I really needed it because it's already getting hot here, but can you believe they sent pretty little me home?! Well, it all started when mom and I got there. There were dogs of all sizes coming in and out. Then in the back I could hear more of them barking for their mommies and daddies. That was making me very nervous already. Mom talked to the lady and made sure to tell her to be very slow with me because fast motions startle me, but I don't think she was paying attention. Then the lady took me and put me in the kennel so I could wait my turn. I have a little bit of patience, but 4 hours is just ridiculous! All that time made me more and more nervous. All the noise, and the people rushing back and forth so fast it just made me crazy. Then the cage opened and the had reached in very fast grabbing at me. What was I supposed to do? I did what anyone would do I gave it a warning bite and let it know it should back off. Then they put a towel on my head and took me out. I REALLY didn't like that, but I did have to potty. They called my mommy and told her I was a bad dog and they couldn't give me a bath, and I had to go home right away. Well, that was just fine with me! Luckily we don't live far so mom was there before I knew it. I was SO happy to see her, but I hear that I am going to go back again on Friday when there is less going on. I also heard something about a tranquilizer… I don't know what that means, but I hope it's not scary.

Yesterday was a whole different day. Mom was in a weird mood. She made me walk pretty on my leash and she made me work for my treats. WORK, ME WORK!? I did it, and I got a lot of very nice attention. Old dogs can remember old tricks!

Please pray for our dear friends...

Last week was a really sad week. My pup pal Gabby lost her home in a fire and some animal family members too. No one found Dude yet, I hope he's ok. Their mommies got real hurt also. There are people and pups all over the world praying for them! My mommy and I miss Gabby's mommy so much, and we pray for her and her family very hard all the time. Would you pray for them too?

I went to the doctor AGAIN last week! This time they just looked at me, but I was really scared they were going to poke me with something again. They gave mom more medicine, but I haven't seen any of it... oh look mom is bringing me another treat! Got to go...Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Allergies *ah-choo!*

I really hate the vet!! I had to go on Friday because my eye was still all red and itchy. They poked me and held me down for a long time, and they touched my paws. I hate that! They told me that mom and I have the same kind of allergies from all the outside stuff. When we got home mom gave me a pill, but let her have it back and spit it out. She hasn't given them to me since. She must have felt bad because I get a lot more treats now. I guess I showed her!
On Saturday we went for another ride in the car, this time it was too see Grandma and Grandpa. I can always tell when we get close, I get so happy I just have to sing. When the car door opens I just can't get out fast enough. When mom unbuckles me I go running and jump into my Grandpa arms. We spent the night and in the morning Grandma made me and omelet with bacon and cheese. It was sooo tasty, but it made me toot a lot, and mom laughed because it was so noxious. I didn't think it was that funny. Sometimes I miss my Grandparents a lot, but I am always ready to go when mom is. I love my mommy, and I don't want to be without her.

You know what, I don't feel so itchy anymore!

OoOoo... I smell good!

Boy was this weekend a long one! Mom went to Grandma's with out me because it was a nice day and she said she didn't want me cooped up inside all day. *pouts* I really wanted to see those cows and pee on those lamp posts. She also changed my diet because she thinks the food I've been eating makes me itchy. I think I heard her say something about the vet. *yikes* I hate it there, what is their obsession with putting things in the out holes?! Well anyway I hope this diet thing works because I don't want to go. Mom says it all natural, I don't care what it is all I know is its very yummy! Now when mom's in the kitchen I know there is something in that pot for me too. Lately all the cooking she has been doing has been for me only, that's really nice of her. Saturday I helped mom clean. I saw that vacuum coming for my toys and I moved them out of the way fast! There is no way that thing is getting my toys, uh-ah no way! I also got a bath. Mom thinks it's funny to give me a bath because I looked like a drowned rat. Ha ha ha mom, don't laugh too hard or I'll shake all over your mirror next time. ;) Now I look all pretty and smell really good. Hmm..let's see what else I did this weekend…. I slept, I sniffed, and I chased a few cats around the house. Yep, it was a very productive weekend! :D

Thunder *Yikes!*

I kept mom awake all night last night. I couldn't help it, there was all this wind and rain and scary thunder making me all nervous! I guess I get a little too nervous because I pottied on mommy's floor. *oops!* I didn't get in trouble though because mm knows I can't help it, she just made me a bed in my crate and tucked me in tight so I'd feel safe untill the storm was over. I love my mommy, she's really nice. Sometimes she makes me scrambled eggs for breakfast. I get so excited I tell mom to hurry and do a little dance. Mom usually shares her dinner with me but lately her dinner has been very green. Yesterday she tried to feed me some long green stuff from a can, I think she's gone crazy! At least she made up for it by giving me a treat. *yum* Hopefully tonight she'll have some chicken for me. (}•¿•{)
