A new movie review

Okay, I was forced to sit through Komodo vs. Cobra. What a train wreck that was! It started out innocently with me wanting to eat my biscuit on Mommy's lap and before you know it I was barking at the television! The only "vs" in this was at the end when the two "stars" squared off for no reason other than food competition. Godzilla movies have better fight scenes.

The cats and I give this movie as many paws down as possible! Yuck!

Oh wow, I'm bleary eyed!

Okay! I have two new movies that I actually stayed awake for! We have been watching this television series on underground cities so the movie watching hasn't been as high level as in the past. So, here are the two I saw:

Pterodactyl on the Sci Fi channel - Summary: Territorial ancient birds that eat anything in their nesting area. There were multiple plot lines that worked well together. Over all I liked it. There were no dogs in this one, but a whole bunch of sheep so that is cool! I actually was rooting for the humans in this one, so I give it two paws up!

Supergator on the Sci Fi channel - Summary: that chick from Top Gun cloned a prehistoric gator/dinosaur and it got out. Or she let it out, I can't remember. I have to say this movie was TERRIBLE. The whole "The volcano is gonna erupt in Hawaii and we have to totally be there so this wonderful, ground breaking event" was silly. There were too many plot lines that went no where and the acting was ear and eye bleeding. Really now, who cares? I was rooting for the volcano to erupt and kill them all. GO VOLCANO! I didn't finish this train wreck since I stopped caring about that one chick's terrible volcano experience that the main dude feels all bad about that they kept reminding us about every 12 seconds. BLECH! I wish I could have been outside with the big dogs for this one or a monkey. They fling things which is what I wanted to do 20 minutes into this.

Gone for a while

Wow! It sure has been a long time since I wrote in this thing.....well, I'm back now and I can't wait to share with you all the movies I've seen! Man, Mom has been watching so many movies I don't know where to begin.

Let me just start with two that Mom TiVoed and made me watch.

1) Basilisk: The Serpent King - I liked the bad guy woman in this one and the CGIed serpent monster, but the whole love interest thing was lame. There were no dogs in this movie so I can only say GO SERPENT!

2) Grendel - I think there were a couple of dogs in the background, but nothing worth noting. The story was lame and the monsters were cool. GO GRENDEL!

The new Underdog live action movie is coming out......I liked the cartoon better, I hope they don't ruin this for me.

Dog Classes! Bah!

Seems I'm a "special case" in school and I won't graduate obedience class. Hmp! I'll show them! I'll learn anyway!

All the time in the world!

So, Mommy has been home going on four weeks. Something about looking for another job - which concerns me because now she has time for - GULP! - dog training! Yes, the puppy movie critic has to undergo obedience classes! Like, looking cute isn't good enough. I learned how to sit and perform a down. Bummer. Then my doggy teacher said something about me having proximity "issues." What issues? You are in my space and it upsets me! Issues! My Mom PAYS people to tell me I have "issues!" Pffft!

Anyway, I'm "learning" these "tricks" but I'm not happy about it. Mommy keeps saying I should know these to be a better doggy citizen, but really, who wants to be that? I want to watch movies all day on Mommy's lap and get puppy massages. ::SIGH:: Maybe when she goes back to working this will all go away. So, pray for her to get a job soon! PLEASE!!!

G, the one with "Issues"

Been a long time!

Not a lot has happened. OH!!! Well, okay one COOL thing did happen. Woman got a loft bed and we sleep in the clouds! It's the coolest thing to having Mommy all to myself! He! While she watches the Dukes of Hazzard (we love the General Lee!) we cuddle and I get run of the house! Then we climb up to the clouds and I am RULER of all the cats and Josette and Blondie! HA!!!

I'm getting out more these days since life has settled down for Mommy. I get to go everywhere she does! He! My favorite place to go is Three Dog Bakery. I'm so cute they give me free treats! Whee!

Just Like Heaven - LOVED IT! That Reese Whitherspoon - what a doll!
Grease 2 - yeah, the first movie was WAY better. Better songs too.

Saw Blade: Trinity and Extended Version of Stargate

Okay, well, Mommy had FIVE whole days off. So, then she opens up the movie bin of the movies we haven't seen. We started with Blade: Trinity on Saturday night. Yea, Blade II was SO MUCH BETTER. The plot was lame, the characters were dull and Mommy says that if it wasn't for the guy who played Drake (supposedly "Dracula") being half naked there wouldn't have been a point to the movie. His name is Dominic Purcell and Mommy says he was John Doe. Don't know who that is, but half way through she muted the movie and we watched the stunts and him without a shirt on. The muted movie was better than the first half with audio. The only part I liked was the vampire Pomeranian. I kept telling Mommy that we are taking over the world, but she just laughed.

Then we watched the extended version of Stargate the movie. Basically it's just all the deleted scenes thrown in. There are no speical features on that DVD. I liked the movie, but the TV show is better.

Can I just tell you?

That I am a happy puppy again! Since Josette got her stitches out mom kicked them outside during the day so they are dogs again. I get to cuddle with the cats all day and have free roam of my room! I get the bed, the tub, and most importantly my own food and water dishes! Plum and I cuddle on the bed and pretend the cats aren't allowed on the bed. I know, it is a big stretch, but it is something while we listen to the classical music Mommy left on for us. Oh, time for a walk to strut my stuff. I'll write more later!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Woe is me!

Well, the Woman freaked out last night because Josette wasn't doing so well. Mommy noticed that Josette's stitches weren't healing correctly and last night it was preety bad. So, after a quick potty break all around, she takes Josette to the emergency vet again. Luckily Josette was going to have her stitches out anyway. Well, Mommy came home without Josette and well, started crying again and clinging to Blondie and me. Not that I minded, but Blondie was totally in my space. Anyway, it was another emotional night for Mommy and she tossed and turned which meant that I tossed and rearranged myself MANY times. I hate when she does that.

Josette is home now and resting all over the bed. My bed. Plum and I aren't happy about this. We had a meeting last night and think Mommy needs a tent in the room for just us. Yeah. Must work on the Woman......

More drama!

Well, here I am again. Unhappy that I have to share my mommy with the cats, but since Josette's accident she has been at mommy's side 24/7 and then Blondie comes and messes it all up! He moved in the room with us last night and it's been so uncool that HE sleeps in my spot! Where am I supposed to cuddle with mommy if he is parked by her head?! And Josette, she takes up the rest of the room so mommy and I are crammed up against the wall. When I try to tell Blondie to back off *I'M* the one that goes in my kennel. Sure she decked it out with toys and soft baby blankets, but still, she is MINE. Why can't they go back outside all the time? I'm going to pout in her lap now.
