Mommy is slacking

So in April, Mommy started work again. As you can tell my social life via dogster has drastically come to a screeching halt. Mommy is promising me and Murri Rae that she will devote a little more time to our fans by updating our profiles a little more often.
Murri Rae has finally stopped jumping over the fence. She has started climbing trees. I don't know which is better. She also has been working on the trick "shake" for seven months and has not gotten it right once. Mommy has all but given up on her. Good thing she is pretty.

I am so lonely

Mommy has a full time job now- that I cant go with her too!! She works for the great state of TEXAS helping old people with their Medicaid- but she is always gone now! She says I can get my CGC training and go with her to the nursing homes after shes been there for a few months. I am excited about that!! I love people loving me. She still spends ther majority of her time at home with me though!!
Last weekend Mommy took us for a long walk then we went to our friends Steve and Lou's house. I thought it was strange cause Daddy was there with a big plastic bag full of mine and Murri Rae's toys. As soon as we were inside Mommy gave us both kisses and said to be good. Then she was gone!! I felt a little alone at first without my Mommy, but was easily distracted cause I could see Buster, Sugar, and Rebel just a few feet away!! Steve and Lou were great!! They gave us lots of treats and attention!!!! THEY LOVE US LOTS!! Even though we stratched them up. Mommy and Daddy clipped and filed our nails- but we were just too excited at the idea we were spending the night!! DID I MENTION THEY GIVE US LOTS OF TREATS!! I barked at every single squirrel I saw- they were baffled that I was not in the right yard. Murri Rae actually stayed inside their fence and BEHAVED!! Whatever that means. She did learn to climb trees- which I think provided some source of amusement to Aunt Lou and Uncle Steve. DID I MENTION THEY GIVE US TREATS!! We had so much fun that when Mommy and Daddy brought us home all we could do was sleep. We were too exhausted from being loved so much!! And all the treats!!

RACE FOR THE CURE

My Mommy and Aunt Melissa walked in the Race for the Cure today. Guess what though- they took me and Murri Rae. Aunt Melissa said I was an angel. I let anyone and everyone pet me- without jumping up and down on them. Murri Rae was called a heathen by her though- she poopied in the middle of the route in the middle of the race. She ran every which way and got tangled into a million things. She wouldnt walk up or down the stairs in the parking garage. Aunt Melissa took her in the elevator on the way down, and Mommy carried her up all 5 stories back up. Not me - I am a good perfect little angel.

THE BALL IS BACK

Murri Rae broke into the toy bin and brought out my tennis balls. Of course I dont think Mommy knows - cause they arent put up yet!! Either way I got to have my ball in the house again!!!

DOLLIE IS HERE!

Two days ago a package arrived with address to Miss Gerdie Haley! THATS ME! Inside was not one, not two, but three of my precious DOLLIES!!!! Such a happy day- I almost do not care that I can not have tennis balls in the house anymore. Mommy hid the other two dollies- this way they last longer.

My very first pup pal ever, Gertie, gave me and Murri Rae rosettes today!! We both feel so pretty and special!!

OH HAPPY DAY

Still no balls in the house but something better has happened. My pal Maggie May has found another one of my precious dollies on ebay!! Mommy bought it!! I am so so so so happy.
I just excite piddled!!

i dont like the new house rule

Last night I got rules placed on me. I am a good dog- I am house broken, don't bark in the house, don't break any of Mommy or Daddys things. Heck I dont even chew shoes anymore, but last night I got a rule. Mommy said cause I tore up my brand new tennis ball in only 5 minutes- that I am no longer allowed to have a ball in the house. They are for outside only-- I dont tear them up there.
I practically sleep with a tennis ball in my mouth- how can she do this to me?

Oh yeah- i heard I was a daily diary pick the other day. SO now everybody knows my business. Good I like it that way- I just hate RULES.

If you all protest Mommy maybe she will change the rule...
Try it- I will let you know how it works out for me.

NOT A GOOD DAY

At first I thought I had escaped getting a bath like Murri Rae. I got tricked- Mommy gave Murri her bath but waited for Daddy to come home and give me mine. THIS HAS NOT BEEN THE BEST OF DAYS!!!!!!!

Despite Everything

Today Evil 1 and Evil have been chosen to be a Diary Entry pick for the day on Catster. Mommy says I have to be pround and share this with everyone.

Obviously the people at catster do not know good writing. They have one entry and I have a great American novel here. Oh well, the cats are smug today.

Life with Murri

This last two weeks- have been some of the best!!!!! Now that I have a little sissy- things are great!!!! The numbers are even with the cats!!!! We also outnumber the fish!! Two days ago, Murri was gone all day!! When she got home, she slept under the bed, I did not even know she was here, until bed time. I was scared that Murri was gone forever. But, she is not!!!! She had to go to the doctor, but she won't talk to me about what happened. Mommy and Daddy are keeping us from playing, too much. I am sure they have their reasons.
Evil 1 and Evil 2 are being a little nicer now. Although, I saw Evil 1 lick Murri on the head yesterday!! I am keeping my eye on her, she has got shifty eyes. Not to be trusted at all. I will protect Murri, she is my sissy afterall.
