Goals for the New Year

I have 3 goals for the new year:

1) Continue my offensive against the Mad Bunnies and their critter allies. Luckily I have Lt. Winry (and Capt. Fozzie to some degree) to help me meet this goal!

2) Snuggle more with Mommy. (Did I mention I can be ruthless AND incredibly cute and cuddly? I'm the total package!!!!).

3) Continue my undefeated win streak against Winry and Hayden in wrestling. It's good to be # 1!

WOW! Did Christmas come a day early? Oh my goodness I am so HONORED to be recognized by my peers in the Furry Federation. Thank you to Starfleet and Admiral Elvis for this honor!!!!

I know that I can be a bit... single minded... at times and I have my crew to thank for keeping me on track. Much like the famous Capt. Jean-Luc Picard and his struggles with the Borg, I too carry a vengance against the Mad Bunnies Empire and I especially rely on Lt. Winry to keep me focused on our mission-at-hand.

Be sure to know that wherever there are Mad Bunnies (or Squirrels, Deer, Possum, Shrews or the dreaded Ground Hogs), I, Capt. Boomer, will be there to defend the Federation to my last breath... or that of our enemy!

All I want for Christmas is....

1) Squirrels

2) Bunnies

3) Shrews

4) Bunnies

5) Deer

6) Groundhogs

7) Did I mention bunnies????

Ummm.... I won't hurt them, I swear... yeah, that's right.

Thanksgiving is Awesome

Mommy and Daddy had two of their friends over for Thanskgiving dinner. Because I am the most well-behaved doggie in my pack (ie: I don't bark, bite, or steal food) I got to stay out with the guests all day! Fozzie and Winry had to stay in their crates, and Enkidu had to stay in the bedroom (hee-hee, stinks to be them!!!).

I got to cuddle with the guests and also got little bites of turkey. I totally rule.

I'm sick

I'm sick and Mommy (and the Vet) aren't sure why. They think it's a pesky UTI but my symptoms are very sporadic. My last urinalysis showed a slight increase in white blood cells and a few crystals; considered normal, but on the high side. I had to go to the Vet yesterday for a "clean urine sample" where they stuck a needle in my belly (OUCH). I got the last laugh though because I tinkled on the Vet Tech (it was an accident, I swear).

My test results will be back tomorrow I hope. Until then it's more anitbiotics...

Car ride with Mommy

Today I got a special treat. Mommy took me, and only me, in the car to run errands with her. We went to PetsMart first and used Aunt Yi's gracious giftcard to buy me a comfy liner for my crate. Mommy bought Fozzie one yesterday and I have been sleeping in Fozzie's crate since, I love it so much! Now I have my very own. Then we bought some filled bones for Mommy's friend Trung's pack. I got asked twice what breed I was and got lots of pets. I even did a nervous pee in one of the aisles when a large man petted me. I've never done THAT before!!!

After PetsMart, we went to Pabby's Pet Pantry. Mommy got me a new soft squeaky toy (since Hayden and Fozzie destroyed my last one) and we got Enkidu treats that are good for his joints.

It was a fun trip out with my Mommy!

Someone really likes me!

I have over 1200 bones on my Dogster page right now. That's a lot of chewing!!! My teeth are going to be super-pearly white after all of those... especially set against my chow-black tongue. :op

I've been tagged!

I wasn't planning on starting a diary, 'cause you see I'm not that "bright." My brother FB and sister Winry both have diaries, so you can always go to their pages to see what life is like in my domain.

But now I've been "tagged" by Kaley Corgi and I have to do something about it.... so Mommy opened this diary for me!

Seven facts about me, huh? Well here it goes....

1) Mommy actually applied to adopt my sister Mayla and NOT me!!!! Mommy thought I was super-cute and more adorable than Mayla, but was afraid that I would be huge 'cause I looked so much like a Chow in my photo. Luckily for her, Mayla was already in the process of being adopted, so my foster mom suggested me! Mommy says I am a perfect fit for the family!!

2) When I want Mommy to notice me, I do the "silent bark" where I clasp my jaw together so my teeth clack. Works every time.... Mommy says it's adorable!

3) I like to roll in things.... dead bugs I've vanquished, bunny and possum poop.... the stinkier the better. Then I strut around and show off my new scent...but for some reason I always get a bath soon after!

4) I have a boyfriend named Hayden. He is a black labrador retriever. I love to wrestle him and pin him. Even though he outweighs me by 50 pounds I'm undefeated!

5) I HATE getting my nails clipped. Grrrrrrrr......

6) I only give kisses on the lips.... so beware!

7) I have a HUGE prey-drive. So far I've rid the backyard of a shrew, bunnies, and too many bugs and earthworms to count. I even tried to go after a deer once! Now if only I could catch a squirrel.... pesky critters....


I'm supposed to tag some more doggies, but I don't know that many....
...so Kaley suggested I go through Club Corgi and tag some of you for the game! Hee-hee.
