Winter is Almost Here

Yipes!, winter starts for real this week. But it has felt like winter for almost all of December. And we have had lots of snow, which I love! But it is very cold and we can't stay outside very long now. Mom just lets us have a little play time, then it's back in the house.

Mom made us all doggie beds this week. They are really warm and nice. We keep them in the computer room so we can be nice and warm while mom surfs the web.
My bed is red and white and says Indiana University on it. Mom says I am almost smart enough to go there, hehe.

It is only a week until Christmas now. I can't wait. I have a big stocking hanging on the fireplace mantle with my name on it. I think Santa will fill it up with treats and toys when he comes down the chimney. He could get lots of tennis balls in there too, and some Milk Bone.

Mom saw some of those popcorn tins at the store the other day. She bought two of them that have pictures of Labrador Retrievers on them. One of them also came with a puzzle of Labs. Mom says when the popcorn is gone, we can keep our toys in them. Boy, thats a lot of popcorn though!

There is another thing I like about winter.....Football. We all get to sit in the family room and watch our Bengals on TV. They are going to the play-offs this year. They didn't used to be very good, but they are great now. My favorite player is Carson Palmer. He can throw the ball a long way. Maybe he could come over and throw tennis balls to me. That would be great!!
