Woof! Haven't added anything new for a while so thought I would stop in. Mom and Dad aren't going on a vacation this Fall so I won't have to stay at the kennel. That makes me happy!! They're nice to me there..but it isn't home. Mom said Dad will be home for a whole month for his vacation and they are going to work on our house. I think they're putting a new wood floor in the bedroom. That should be fun. Mom said during that month I also have to go to the vet to get my teeth cleaned. Grrr..I don't like that! Mom says I have to though.
My friend Ruger is having a birthday next month and he will be 14. Mom says that's getting sort of old for a Lab. He is doing real good though.
Okay, that's all the news I have. Maybe Mom can add some new pictures of me to my page soon.

May 2010 WOOF!

It's been over a year since my last update. Guess I really should make Mom let me use the computer more often. 2009 was good. Mom and Dad went on a trip for a week in the Fall and I wasn't very happy with them because I had to stay in the kennel. I guess the kennel is okay. The people are nice and play with me every day, but it's not like home. I don't know if they are going anywhere this year. (I kinda hope not!) Anyway, I'm 9 yrs. old now and Mom still says I act like a puppy most days. She said that's a good thing though because I'm happy and healthy. I go for a walk every morning with Mom and play Frisbee with Dad in the back yard. It's a good life.....

WOOF-WOOF! Gosh it's been a really long time since I wrote anything in my diary here. Since the last entry I've had another birthday. (Mom didn't forget) I'm now 8 years old. Mom says I still act like a big puppy sometimes, even though my face is getting white.

I had a good 2008. Mom and Dad didn't go on a vacation so I didn't have to stay at the kennel. I got to be home with them the whole time for vacation. That was really fun. I got to play Frisbee just about every day!

WOOF! WOOF! Hello! Guess what! My picture is going to be on a calendar that people can buy! Mom sent my picture to a place that wanted Lab photos for a 2008 calendar and I got picked for July. The judges said I'm "a cutie". People will be able to buy the calendar online or at fund raisers the Lab Rescue place has. Mom said we get one free though since I'm in it. Isn't that cool that I'm gonna be in a real calendar!? Mom said she would share the link where people can buy them when they are printed and on sale.

Did you see what Mom added to my page..VIDEOS! Now all my friends can see me in action! Please excuse the fact that I burped right at the end of the first video..right after Mom asks me 'where's your Dad'. I don't know why she didn't edit that part out. I guess she thought it was kinda funny.

I have the feeling Mom is going to get obsessed with this whole video thing..so keep checking back for new ones.

WOOF! I can't believe it's been almost a YEAR since I wrote anything in my diary. Sorry 'bout that! I guess I've been busy with the usual dog stuff..playing..sleeping..eating..going for walks..all the important stuff.

Yesterday was my birthday and I am now 6 years old. Mom says she doesn't know how that is possible but I guess it is. I got lots of gifts and got to go visit my friend Ruger. (he's a black Lab) I also got some green beans chopped up on my food and mmm-mmm that was yummy! I like green beans!

Mom finally changed some of the pictures here on my page for me. Some of the ones that were here weren't all that good so I picked some new ones that I like better. Hope you do to!

I won!

Wow..Mom just told me that I won the Patriotic category in the World's Coolest Dog contest! I'm so proud..and so is Mom!

Thanks to all the people who voted for me to move my picture on to the final round. And thanks to the judges who picked me as the Patriotic Dog winner!! WOOF!!!

November 19th

Wow, my Mom just told me that my Patriotic picture made it to the FINALS of the Coolest Dog photo contest! (it's the picture up above here where I'm wearing my red, white and blue flag bandana and sitting by my pond)

Thank-you to everybody out there who voted for me and gave me 5's. I'm really, really proud to be in the final round and hope lots of people will vote for me to win the grand prize. But if I don't win, I'm still really happy to just be in the finals. And hey, maybe the panel of judges will choose me as winner of the Patriotic dog catagory! WOOF!!
