It's bee a really long time since I've been on Dogster and even longer since I've posted anything in my diary.
Mommy's been so busy with work that she hasn't had a chance to update my site. But things have calmed down for now and I'm so happy to be back with my furiends!

I promise I'll update more often.

Whew, it's been a long time since i've posted anything here. I guess i've been preoccupied looking for Mr. Right.

Since i've been hanging around the Crushes Forums, i've met a lot of great pups! I just started putting myself out there. I've been on a couple dates already but too early to tell if it'll turn into anything...

Happy Monday everybody!
I hope everyone had a good weekend. I had a great one!
Mommy and I went to the park on Saturday and Sunday. I met some great pup pals there. Mommy and I are still working on socializing me (especially with other doggies) and this weekend was a success! I ran, chased, was chased, barked... it was great! Mommy was so proud of me. :o)

Anyway, Mommy and I joined a new group on Dogster called Blankets for Babies. Mommy has been working hard on making blankets for babies in the shelters. I helped by laying down on Mommy's lap. She finds it comforting...
I hope we can make lots of blankets to comfort babies in the shelters until they find a loving home like me...

all about me

This past weekend mommy was busy cutting and pasting and getting all my pictures together. I didn't know what she was doing and i was kind of bored but i caught up on my sleep (a girl needs her beauty sleep.) Finally, she showed me what she was working on.
It was a book completely about ME!
I couldn't believe it. She made a whole book with my baby pictures all the way up to now. She and I sat together and looked through the book. She shared memories of when i was a baby and told me how i was such a cute puppy. I wish i could show you all. It's a great book.

Mommy sure loves me a lot to spend an entire weekend making a book about lil ol' me...

2007

I guess i'm a little late in saying HAPPY NEW YEAR!
2006 was a great year and now that I'm two years old, i feel older and wiser.
I celebrated my second birthday the day before Christmas Eve. My mommy and auntie got me a beautiful pink collar. It has a princess crown and my name in rinestones! I'll have to post a picture of it later.

Anyway, I just wanted to wish everyone the best in the new year!

i did something bad...

Lately, mommy's been very busy with work and doesn't pay much attention to me. yesterday, mommy wore her new shoes to work. She didn't come home for a very long time. When she got home she kicked her shoes off and just went to sleep. She only played with me for 10 minutes. I get restless and bored by myself.
So while mommy was sleeping, i wasn't tired. I had to find something to do. I don't know what compelled me to but i started gnawing on mommy's new shoes. it was fun and i felt less stressed. but when mommy found out..... i was in BIG trouble. Mommy's never been that mad at me before. She yelled and screamed, i don't really know what she said but i knew she was upset.
eventually mommy forgave me... i know shoes are off limits now... i hope mommy's not still mad...

i feel naked...

Mommy took me to the groomers today. One of my least favorite things. *grrrrrrr* She had the groomer lady shave me all down! I feel so naked and bare. *whimper*
Mommy keeps saying that it's better this way. Now i can roll in the grass and not get dirty and i won't get as hot when we go outside. Little does she know, i'm not leaving the house until i have at least a full inch and a half of hair.
While I was at the groomers waiting for my mommy, i had a barking contest with the shiztu next to me. The groomer lady told mommy that i won. naturally.
Hopefully, i won't have to go there again for awhile.
does anyone have a towel i can cover myself up with? this is indecent...
