Arrival Story:
We found him on petfinder.com and he was a few hours north of us, so we contacted the animal shelter and told them we would adopt him as a play mate for Hustler (our 1 year old we already had) and a new addition to the family. He got to spend Thanksgiving with us and we are off to a sort of rocky start as he is a little jealous of Hustler and bites him. Which scares Hustler. We diecided to take both dogs with us to North Dakota for Christmas and it was a long drive for all of us (36 hours). My dad fell in love with Bosco right away and the same for Bosco, we all decided it was in the dogs' best interest to leave Bosco with Grandpa, he couldn't be happier. I get reports from Grandpa about the new crazy adventures he and Bosco get into so it worked out well for both of them. It was really hard to leave Bosco there and at first I was really regretful, but then I talked to my dad a few days later and Bosco made himself at home and found his own "castle" which is what he wanted. It all worked out.

Bio:
He was found wandering around in a little Navy town in California and brought to a shelter, after signs were posted and no one responded, we found him and adopted him. He was a little malnourished, and just got fixed and he came home to us with kennel cough, unfortunately his brother caught it right after we left North Dakota. We decided his birthday is going to be November 23, since that is when we adopted him, the pound said he was about three, but the vet said he was probably at least five. He is happily living in North Dakota with Grandpa and Grandma hiding treats in the snow to find them when the snow thaws and chasing the cats around. Oh did I mention he is the only dog of the house and loves it!

Bones, Snow and Treats in the Spring

I buried a bone with my Grandpa Goose the other day in a snowbank. In the spring when the white stuff, well I made most of it yellow, goes away I will have my bone again. Everyday I sniff it to make sure it's still there. I really like it here. I am the only doggy and I get to chase the cats around all day! Plus, Grandpa Goose takes me out for three walks a day! Holy Woof! Talk to you pups later.

Woofutations,

Nap time.

I just got to sleep in a warm car bed for 252 doggy hours. It was heavenly and my sissy little brother just cried the whole time and wouldn't shut up. The only part I didn't like was the freezing ground on my delicate litte paws! Oh holy, I could barely go potty, let alone take a poopy, I couldn't stand in one spot long enough to take care of business, so as soon as I got to Grandma and Grandpa's house I was just so warm and cozy and well, I had an accident...mommy had to clean it up. Ooops, then mommy took me outside and I finished my business out there. Mommy bought me some snow booties so I can go potty outside without freezing my little paws. Hustler is standing by Garndma and Grandpa's door crying forever! Grandma just took him out. He is so spoiled. Whatever. I think I might ask mommy and daddy if I can stay here with the Grandparents, it's much quieter here, colder, but quieter. Except those other furry things they have here, all they do is hiss at me and get mad. I must be going.

Woofutations!

Home at last

I'm finally home. My new Mommy and Daddy adopted me last week before Thanksgiving and boy am I glad to be home. I have this little brother, except he's bigger, go figure, who I am not sure about. He wants to play with me but all of this is just so overwhelming for me. Plus, I only think its fair that Mommy and Daddy pay attention to me for a while, afterall I am new and they don't know me yet. So sometimes I get jealous of my brother and try to get him away from my parents. Then my mommy makes me rollover and tells me no. I don't know what's wrong with nipping at his ears and barking in his face, I'm just trying to tell him, "My Turn!" but I guess I need to learn to do it the nice way. I am starting to realize he's not all bad and today we took a nap together at the same time with Mommy in bed and I was a good boy Mommy said! I like to be a good boy. It was nice talking with ya.

Woofutations,
Bosco
