Arrival Story:
My roommate and I decided to get a dog against our other roommate's wishes. When we got to Operation Kindness, they had this brand new litter of 8-week old puppies and there were only two left. We couldn't decide on which one to take so I took Missy, who was the runt of the litter, and my roommate took the boy (Luke), who turned out to be a 60lb. dog. It has since been almost eight years since then and Luke is now with a family living on a farm while Missy doesn't meander far from the bed or my side.
