Tessa had changed a lot in the last month. She was pigging out on food, eating 1 and a half or two times her normal portion. She got to the point where she seemed to enjoy being outside on potty breaks, sniffing around. Watching squirrles and birds, but she had never been like that before.

She never had problems with holding food down, sometimes she wouldn't chew up her meaty bones enough and she'd have to chew them again. But on Thursday the 5th of November she threw up her food, but she ate again that night and held it down. Then on Friday she didn't eat until late. Saturday and Sunday she refused to eat, we syringe fed her. Still, she would throw it back up.
She lost a lot of weight in those few days. And something became noticable, the left side of her rib cage stuck out.

By 2am Monday she was in a lot of pain, medicine didn't help. It was getting worse, she was put to sleep at 5am. Monday November 9th.

Everything points to cancer of her stomach/intestines. Called Leiomyomasarcoma

I miss her like nothing else. But it was her time to go, I didn't want her to hurt anymore.

We had her for exactly 4 years and 2 weeks.
