Arrival Story:
We purchased Delilah from a (gasp again!) backyard breeder. She was supposed to be papered and such, but the AKC denied her papers based on complaints about her litter. Seems there may have been a beagle in the woodpile? But no worries. We loved her all the same. We now know better than to buy from back yard breeders and support needless litters when there are SO many homeless bassets and other dogs.

Bio:
The Doo, as she came to be known recently went on to the Rainbow bridge. She is my love (or better known as My love of my loves)! and is missed so much! She and Ellie Mae came to be best buddies as Biscuit and Semi were a bit old to romp around with. Delilah died in my arms on January 9, 2004 from Hypertrophic Cardiomyopothy, a heart condition. She was without a doubt, The Best!
