Arrival Story:
We had heard of a farm giving away two puppies. One of them was already taken and we were going to buy the other (Nuala's sister). However, Nuala was given back as she apparently shook the cat (she used to shake her toys when she was a pup). We went to the farm and Nuala was the pup that was left. I am so glad we got her :) Her previous owners had called her 'Foxy' (because she looked like a fox, imaginative!) We spent about a week coming up with a name. My mum and step-dad were skimming through my celtic faery tale book and saw that Nuala meant 'the faery queen's council'. We were then given the choice to call her "Ria" or "Nuala". I immediately chose Nuala, it suited her more!
Bio:
Nuala believes she is a human. She is very intelligent, but was thankfully easy to train. She is obedient and loyal. She loves playing tug-of-war, and chasing after toys. Hide-and-seek with her toys is also fun. She is getting a little arthritis, but that has not stopped her energy!

Most amusing story:
Me and a friend were walking with Nuala (she was off the lead). We were remarking on how intelligent she was. She was watching us talk about her. And walked right into a parked car! I swear she was bright red under her fur!!

I'm a poorly puppy.
I had a little seizure a few weeks back. I felt a little funny, so went up to Amelia's mum, I couldn't stand up very well. I was taken to the Vet and they couldn't work out what had happened. They took a blood sample and discovered that I had an abnormal enzyme count in my liver. The Vet doesn't think the seizure has anything to do with my liver, and they don't actually know what's wrong with it. I've been put on a special diet which is really expensive. I feel really bad because my food costs more than my family's does. I want to get better quick!
Poor McVitie is also ill :(

Yay! McVitie is on Catster!
She is Amelia's boyfriend's cat. I had the 'pleasure' of meeting her once.
2 years ago Amelia and Tim took me to play in the snow with their friends, I then came back with them to Tim's house. I could smell 'cat' as soon as I walked in! But because I am well behaved, I just stayed put. I caught a glimpse of McVitie before I was taken to the dining room. I suppose she's not so bad, for a cat!

Hey there, I'm Nuala!
Amelia lovingly made me this page. She is away at University, and I miss her tonnes! The last time she came back she gave me a present! She made me a lovely necklace to be attached on my collar, I have a photo of it on my profile :)
The next time I will see Amelia will be near Christmas :(
I hope she gets me a nice christmas present, preferrably something chewable!
