People as long as he knows them well.

having to wait for his food

Favorite Toy:
his brother Echo

Favorite Food:
Grapefruit and Granny Smith Apples, basically anything sour...crazy dog

Favorite Walk:
anywhere that isn't crowded...he gets stressed if there are too many people around, and the older he gets the worse the stressing gets, I can't hardly take him anywhere anymore because he's terrified

Best Tricks:
He knows tricks? I can't hardly to get him to do general obedience stuff (he will if there something in it for him but otherwise he acts like he can't hear you most of the time)

Arrival Story:
After Chaz was killed we were looking for a dog to keep Echo company and my mom saw Deisel at the pound and thought he looked alot like Echo and brought him home. Story we got on him was that he was born as a stray under a bridge and we assume that he endured alot of abuse before we adopted him because he was absolutely terrified of people walking by him, and we had to teach him that not only was he allowed on the porch but he was allowed to come inside without fear of being hurt, same with people walking by him. He's still timid but doesn't have those fears any longer.

Passed away Feb 27, 2009 due to Addison's Disease complicated by AutoImmune Hemolytic Anemia.

February 16 Diesel was taken to the vet due to a lack of appetite. Which for Diesel was something that had never happened before. The vet took some blood tests and gave him a vitamin injection to stimulate his appetite. The next day the test results came back and Diesel had Addison's Disease. So we began doing what we could for him that night.

February 23 Diesel was rushed back to the vet because he began to crash. Another blood test was taken, and he had Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia. And once again treatment began immediately. He was extremely weak. For the majority of the week we were feeding him water through a turkey baster ever half hr to an hr. He had started to get a little stronger. And by Thursday even the vet was saying he was showing signs of improvement. Friday morning, February 27, 2009 Diesel passed away.

Please keep me and his "brother" Echo in your thoughts and/or prayers. We're dealing but its not been an easy task for either of us.

Diesel (July 2002-February 27, 2009) - RIP my sweet boy. You are and always will be loved and missed.

Not a whole lot to report....

I'm going to TRY to keep this updated as much as I can. But I don't get a whole lot of computer time. My mom and grandparents hog the computer, plus they say dogs shouldn't be on the computer so we'll see. Maybe when and if something big happens Mom will even report back for me.

As for now theres nothing real big going on. My fifth birthday is in a few months and mom seems to be having a spaz attack about me and my brother Echo being five already. Echo turned five in February.

But in a few weeks we've got my mom's and Echo's favorite event coming up...notice I didn't say mine. It stresses me out. Its a dog walkathon....usually about a thousand people and just about as many dogs. One year I literally tried to climb up into my mom's arms when she was standing because I got so scared/stressed out. But fortunately this year it isn't my turn to be dressed up. Echo gets that honor, and by the sounds of it he gets to do it twice because he and my mom's freind's son are going for the doggie/owner look alike contest as superman.

Other than that nothing to report...healthy and happy. Thats the way i like to be....although I do think more food should be supplied, not that I'm not fed, i just want MORE. hehe
