Playing & Snacking! I love squeaky balls, doing tricks, playing tug of war, chasing, walks in the mall & mountains, learning new things! I love it when you get home and I haven't seen you in awhile! I will always do my little "butt-dance" for you!

I hate it when people scratch near my rear-end! Yikes! Don't do that!

Favorite Toy:
I really love my squeaky balls! I have a beautiful array of colors! I especially like the ones that have the rainbow colors and the ridges! LOVE THEM!

Favorite Food:
I love steak! Yummmmmmmmm! Frosty paws are pretty yummy, too! I also love liver treats!

Favorite Walk:
I love to walk at the shopping mall! I'm lucky! My mommy's mall let's me go in with her! Lucky me! I also LOVE to take a walk around the block! I love walking up on Mount Evans and watching Mountain Goats from afar!

Best Tricks:
I can sit, go down, roll over, touch your hand for a treat, stay off of a treat, walk off of a leash with you, and my most favorite is THE BIG HIGH FIVE! Oh yeah...I can wave hi and bye, too!

Dear Kadie!
What can I say? From the moment that I saw you, I knew that you were going to be a VERY important part of my life and my world!

You have healed and filled my heart from the moment that I first saw your little brown eyes, and felt your warm puppy breath. You have taught me to stop and smell the roses (and pretty much anything else that appears interesting!). You've taught me the beauty in just sitting and watching the world go about it's business, from a leaf blowing across the yard, to the wind gently blowing on some flowers. You've taught me that I can learn so much just by slowing down. You communicate more than I ever thought was possible, and that makes life so much easier for both of us! You are such an expressive soul!

Above everything else, you have taught me unconditional love! You knew instinctively when I could not physically meet your needs when I was sick, and you loved me and stayed by my side anyway. You continue to amaze me in the way that you let new people into your world and love them and dance for them and show them your gifts! All the while....you remain loyal to our love and special bond.

You make me giggle more loudly, love more deeply and enjoy life with more appreciation for all of the gifts that I am blessed with... especially you! All I can hope for is that I can live up to be the person that you believe me to be. That would be something!

I love you more than I will ever be able to tell you (especially because you won't let me hug you that hard!....giggle!) Thank you for loving me!

Forever Yours...

This is a special Tail of Devotion

Well, since we last wrote, Kadie has had a couple of birthdays! She is now 4 years old! Wow! I can't believe it!

She has been to the top of Mount Evans in Colorado (a 14 thousand foot mountain peak!) several times and loves to go and watch skiiers in Vail!

She has now been a Pet Partner Therapy Dog for 2 years! Everyone just loves Kadie and her sweet personality!

We've tried to be a part of some Scottie groups, but we are a little tired of hearing about how LARGE Kadie is....and that she is not a "SHOW SCOTTIE!" Nawww...we're not bitter! We're just a "big-boned" Scottie and we like Golden Retrievers and German Shephards. They don't appear to bark as much at us or snarl.

Don't get us wrong! WE LOVE SCOTTIES! In fact, Kadie is the 5th in a family of 6 Scotties over the past 31 years! WOW! She is definitely the largest Scottie we've had....and we love her for that! She is a 31 pound lap Scottie!

From Kadie:
"Hi Everyone! Stop and leave me a little treat if you'd like! My mommy has me on a diet and I'm always loving little treats when I can get them! Thank you! Oh....and I hope my mommy will put some new pictures up of me! I am much bigger now!"
