Arrival Story:
This was the 1st dog we received as a gift from a breeder. He was so intelligent looking and sweet, that we chose him over all the others in the litter. Some of his litter mates went on to be drug-sniffing partners for the Border Patrol. This was a dog who truly adopted us as his pack.

Bio:
Kwewu's name is Hopi for wolf, but it's hard to pronounce. We nicknamed him "Fuzzy" for the vet's office, family, etc. He joined an old grumpy Cocker Spaniel and several cats. The Cocker and the cats are no longer with us. Kwewu is like "Mikey" from the Life cereral commercial: he'll eat anything. He likes babies, but only tolerates cats & playful dogs, etc. However, he paces with loud noises like thunder, fireworks and even hot air balloons. He now has very bad arthritis in his lower spine and back legs. The pacing with the hot air balloon festival we had here in mid-Sept. almost put him down for good. He couldn't get up for almost 1 week. Thank goodness for doggie aspirin and MSM and glucosamine. We hope he'll make it thru the winter. Kwewu has light blue eyes, which make him scary looking to strangers. However, he is the biggest sweetheart in the world.
