Bio: I'm Pippin! I 'm a Shih Tzu. I love to play and to get attention. I'm very affectionate and smart. I know atleast 20 tricks. I live with my many brothers and sisters, and enjoy walks and car rides. I like to pretend I'm a border collie by trying to herd my puggie sister and my puggie cousin into just one spot. (It's not easy puppy-sitting!)

I've Been On Dogster Since:
Pippin and Maizie Grace went to the JCAPL's fifth annual animal fair Saturday, May 20. We arrived at 10 AM, and stayed till past 2 PM. I brought some artwork to sell, and hopes for entering Pip in some contest this year. I entered him in the Musical Sits contest (as I'd been doing for the past 2 years.) , then relized they also had the Best Trick contest this year (they didn't, for some reason, have it last year), so I also entered him in that. Pippin didn't do too well in musical sits, like he normally does (usually in the top 3) but, then again, the judge didn't happen to notice that one dog that sat AFTER poor Pip. Even still, it was hot, and Pip was getting tired, after being in the sun. The Best Trick didn't begin till past 2. By then, I'd sold 3/5 of my art works, had drawn the raffle, won a raffle, and Pip was tired.
We went on. Pippin was against 2 other dogs: Taz, a brindled terrier mix; and Daisy-Mae, a miniature Dachshund. Taz rolled over, and Daisy Mae, after several, several tries, got a toy out of her toy box and stood up on her hind legs. I went after Taz (second), and thinking quickly, as I had not known about the contest before hand, and did not have any of Pippin's props, had Pippin play dead, and had him close the gate to the areana. Oh, the suspence, waiting for the winners!
"And the judges have decided, the winner of the Best Trick contest is.....
Pippin!" WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO PIPPIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pip had his picture taken, and got his plaque. It will soon hang beside his other awards on his little wall of glory in my room. Little dogs can do big things, too! ;)
