I'm 4 today!

Today is my birthday. I can't believe I've lived with Mama and Daddy for almost 4 whole years! Daddy says I act like a grumpy old man. I think I'm just mature. I'm grown now and I don't act much like a puppy anymore. I leave all the roughhousing and immaturity to my little brother. I do still like to bark at the UPS man and chase Rusty around the house though.

I got a new brother.

A few weeks ago, this new kid came to our house. He smelled funny (like other dogs) and was really skinny. He was also red. Not pretty black and rust like me. Mama and Daddy started calling him "Rusty" and he got to sleep in the bedroom with us. I thought he was just visiting, but he hasn't left yet. Daddy says he's my "brother."

Sometimes I don't like him. He likes to play all the time, and I'm a mellow grown 3-year old man. But I like to wrestle and snuggle and have someone to talk to all day. He's still learning to share but he's pretty cool.

New house

Wow, it's been a long time since I updated my diary. My life has been so weird lately. One day Mama and Daddy started packing up all their crap and moving it out of our apartment. It seemed like they were moving everything but me! Then they took me to Grandma and Grandpa's and I got to play with my cousin Sheba. She's so furry and big. She can't run as fast as me though. I love going over there cause I can run and run and run. Then Grandpa gives me big treats. Don't tell my Mama and Daddy.

Well then Daddy came and got me and took me to a new apartment! It smelled so weird. I was nervous for a while because it was so different. But the good news is, I don't have to be in my pen all day anymore! When Mama and Daddy leave for work, I can run around or sleep on the couch all I want. I've been a good boy and haven't chewed up anything. I like my new house.

One hour til my birthday!

I'm almost two. My mommy bought me a new boney at Petco for my birthday tomorrow. I love her. She gives me kisses on my neck. Sometimes she gets on my nerves telling me I need a "bath" and making me put down the toilet paper I shred. I like to bark at the UPS man. I barked at him today and he called me "killer." That's right... betta reckanize!!!
