Roscoe has a lot of favorite foods but is only allowed his dog food, milk bones and raw hides. His type of breed has a very sensitive tummy and his little friend Angel had a bad scare due to eating to much people food. Roscoe is now on a strict diet.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere! But really loves the walking track at Hixson Middle School

Best Tricks:
Sit pretty (kinda like begging), dance, shake, and lay down roll over which he does all in one move!

Arrival Story:
After loosing our rescued schnauzer almost 2 years ago we were heart broken and frantic to find another schnauzer. We searched the internet, the newspaper, the dreaded trip to the pound, and tried various rescue groups. We were so lonely for the love and companionship that the Miniature Schnauzer offers and missed our beloved "Baby" something awful. It was close to my birthday and my Dad ( a fellow Mini-Schnauzer lover/owner) found a breeder in Jackson, Mississippi who had one pup left from his dog's last litter. Needless to say my father drove to Jackson, picked him up, and took him his house in Mississppi. As soon as we got the news that he had our little bundle of joy, we jumped in the truck and drove almost five hours to meet the new addition to our family! It was love at first site. He is the most special dog to us in the world. Though you can never replace one dog with another Roscoe immediatley filled the big hole we had in our hearts due to the loss of Baby. He is the most dedicated friend we have ever known. He demands a lot of attention and of course he gets it!

Roscoe loves going on the boat! Check out the new picture of him in his own seat. Feel free to leave him a message! Roscoe is back home with his Momma now.

I am finally home with Momma!

I am finally back home with my Momma. She came and got me last week. I am adjusting to my new enviroment pretty well except for those darn "yard dogs" across the street. They think they can just come in MY yard any time they want. Well I just bark and bark til I fall off the couch! Momma won't let me get near them outside (good thing for them because as far as I know I AM the biggest, baddest dog in the world). Oh yeah, and I got a hair cut, more like a crew cut so Momma had to buy me a new sweater because the weather in TN is a little cooler than in MS. I got a bath last night and it really wasn't that bad. I dried pretty quick since I don't have much fur right now. I am happy to be home with Momma. I miss Quincy and my Grandpa, but I will see them for Thanksgiving. Just glad to be Momma's little bed bug again.

Momma is getting me soon.

WOOF WOOF and BOW WOW! Momma is coming to take me back to Chattanooga soon. I have to wait until court ( what ever that is) is over and hopefully by the end of October we will be together again. I can't wait to sleep on the pillow with her and in the bed on her chest. I can hardly wait to glue myself to her while she is sitting on the couch watching t.v. or writing. I miss her a lot and she misses me more than any words could express. Going home will be a change from my new routine but Momma says I am like a child and will adapt easily to my new enviorment. I can't wait for long walks in the woods, on the track, or just down the road. Mom needs me for exercise, companionship, love, and all that other stuff. I am the opitomy of love because I was raised with nothing but love so it is basically all I know. I will miss Quincy and Grandpa but Momma is and always will be my favorite human. For now I will continue to follow the rules around here until she comes for me. I can hardly wait, but slowly, one day at a time, the end of October will be here and things will get back to normal for me. That's all for now.

Got my hair cut

Grandpa took Quincy and me to get a hair cut the other day. I got off my leash and scared Grandpa pretty bad. He is keeping a closer eye on me know and Momma told him to tighten the collar when I go somewhere. Grandpa said it is so tight my eyes are bulging LOL. I sure do miss my Momma, and I can hardly wait to see her again. I will be so happy to come home to Chattanooga, however I will miss Quincy and Grandpa a lot. I hope Momma can come get me soon. Grandpa takes very good care of me, but no one but no one loves me like my Momma. That is why my nickname is Momma Boy.
