Best Tricks:
Leaping (flying) across an entire room; Doing a somersault onto the couch.

Arrival Story:
After Harley passed away (see Harley-We Miss You page), we searched long and hard before adopting Lola from Dozer Danes in Atlanta, GA. We picked Lola because she was described as being "the calm one." That's funny now. You should see her bouncing off our walls when she gets the "zoomies."

My how time flies. Hard to believe Lola is now 4 years old. She sleeps a lot more than she used to, but otherwise is still the same incredibly sweet, but tentative dog. She still loves to "fly" across the house. I've never seen a dog who likes to leap as much as Lola. She's also still tormenting her poor brother, Dell.

They finally took all those nasty staples out of my abdomen, and I've finally regained my full puppy energy. My parents recently installed a wonderful obstacle course in the backyard for me. It's so much fun to run back and forth and sail over the fence to the side yard - it causes my parents to make loud, yelling noises. I guess they're excited by my speed and grace. I've also discovered that it's fun to run full speed directly toward the back of the house, and then slide underneath it when playing chase with my older brother. Occasionally I get knicks and scrapes from doing it, but it doesn't bother me for long. Just call me "wonder dog."

I just got spayed :(

Well, it had to happen. My mom and dad took me to the vet last week and left me there. Next thing I knew, I had staples in my abdomen and I didn't feel so hot. My mom and dad were super nice to me when they picked me up the next day, but all I felt like doing was sleeping. Now it's been a week and I feel better, but I pretend I don't so they will keep giving me all these yummy foods. Last night I had steak and beef broth with my usual kibble and yoghurt. I want to play with my brother Dell so badly, but mom keeps saying "uh uh" and telling me not to. Also, she keeps checking the staples on my belly. What's that about?
