Sancho's Story

The Dog Days of School

She is "going back to school"? Right, at her age? She says it will result in more and better treats for all of us. Well, what about now when she goes back to school, whatever that is? I don't need school, I have street smarts.

I did have some home school sessions where this nice lady came into our house and we had a great time! We did tracking with hot dogs - my all time fave activity. I could have been a tracker dog. Just one little problem, I like to run away when the hot dogs are gone. I did help my sister find her's though, which was kind of me. I graduated from home school, with honors.

Next, I went to Puppy Kindergarten when I was about 2 years old. It was fun! I got my mom into loads of trouble. She got chewed out for so many "naughty"things I did that we stopped going. I kind of missed it, but it was kind of stressful, too. All of those great smells and not being able to explore them. There were horses, poop, other dogs, people I needed to hump - all sorts of things I never really got to enjoy. Too many darn rules!

Anyway, we'll see how this school thing goes.

Oh Sancho... she doesn't have to go away for that does she? Still, better and more treats is something good to look forward to! Maybe it won't be for a long time.

I can't blame you for not tracking after the hotdogs ran out. Why stick around for nothing! It was kind to find your sister's hotdog. Selfless helping of others merits that you get to eat the lost weenie. It's a rule!

Why have smells at all if you don't get to explore them? I'm sure that you were just too advanced for puppy stuff like Kindergarden. It sounds more like a brainwashing facility. Glad your mom left before you became a Stepford dog!

Tell your mom I wish her great success with school!

Love and licks,

You always make me (and my mom) laugh! She just has to drive a ways (70 miles one way) everyday to go (without me) to college. It will take her 2.5 - 3 human years to finish her certification. Who knows what will be what by the time she is finsihed? I am 11 already, you know!

A Stepford dog! That cracked us up. No, I am far from that. I am a Bosky Boy! That was a barn we were in and I liked the smells, but that lady was a meanie & made my mom cry when she yelled at her in front of everyone. I licked up her tears and told her to shake it off! I offered to bite even, but she said, "No, just pee inside the barn & let's get out of here!"

ANyway, I do love weenies, but I love you more, my friend! I am helpful though. My mom says, "thanks" or "Woof!" and she'll do her best in class.

Mucho besos,

Sancho Panza

Oh No Sancho! That's big news... 70 miles each way and every day??? You all live in a dangerous and snowy place too. She must be very dedicated to go through that! We know she'll do her bestest and breeze through the classes with her smarts and yours when you help her with homework.

Sounds like that lady would do better training robots instead of living beings. Shame on her for not liking you and for being mean to your mom! I hope you took your mom's very excellent advice and left a river in that barn.

Yep! Muchos besos,
