Arrival Story:
my husband and i just bought a new home and he wanted to get another dog because we had the room for one more. so we went to the local pound and saw this cute little bouncy yappy terrier and then there was a beautiful calm black dog. the sign said she was a collie and lab mix. she was so sweet and gave nice kisses through the cage. my husband picked meghan. as soon as we got into the parking lot the craziness began. this dog has sooooo much energy, but also tons of love.
Bio:
as it turns out, meghan is not a collie and lab mix. she is a flat coated retriever. i had her at the petstore buying toys and the head of the flattie rescue group was also in the store and asked "where did you get your flattie"? this would explain her abundance of energy!

all i wanted to do tonight was play with my ball with my mommy, but she had other plans for me. it was all rainy today so i had to get my hair brushed instead. i hate getting my hair brushed. mommy is very slow and gentle, but i still don't like it. i don't care how pretty i look when i am done. i would rather be messy. well, i do feel a little better. woof woof.
