MY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Yesterday was my birthday. Also, it has been 1 year since I have been living with my new family. I am so HAPPY!! WOOF WOOF!! My birthday was very special. I got a new "piggy" toy which I love and got some special treats throughout the day. Also, mommy, daddy and sister took me to the ice creams stand and got me a puppy cone.....mmmmmmm...yummmmm....so yummy. When I was done... I still wanted more so I tried to jump up for some of my sisters but they said NO! BOL. Mommy ended up letting me finish hers. I am a happy doggy.

I AM SO GLAD THOSE TWO WESTIES ARE GONE!!

This past weekend my mommy's dad came to visit with his two westies, Boomer (BOO) and Baby (BAE). They are my cousins and live in NJ. Anyway, Boo and I got along OK. We trotted around the house together and he even let me sniff his butt! BOL! Bae was so MEAN! Whenever I tried to get close to him he would growl and show his teeth at me which made me really mad and I would go after him and bite him. He does it to his brother Boo too, but Boo it pretty passive and he lets Bae get away with it! NOT ME!! At least not in MY HOUSE! The family had to break up three fights in two days between Bae and myself. They were only here for two days. One time I even had him by the neck and mommy had to "save" Bae! We just didnt get along. Oh well, I guess its just like humans, you like some and then you are annoyed by others.

My FIRST THANKSGIVING with my NEW FAMILY!

Well I had the first Thanksgiving with my new family. It was fun. I even got to have some turkey with my kibble. Boy did I feel special. The family spent alot of time together over the long weekend. Yesterday night, they were stringing out these bright colored lights on the family room floor. I came in to inspect them then I quickly went to the other room. My mommy and daddy said I did not know what to make of those "Christmas lights". After they had all the lights and ornaments on the tree, I have felt safe enough to venture back into the family room. Only now, every time I go to look out "my window", I hit the tree with my tail!!!! OOOOPPPSS! I hope this is temporary.

My new found TOY TOY!!

Guess what everyone?!?!?! When my mommy and daddy rescued me, they discovered that I was not a "toy" dog. I wouldnt chase a ball or a squeeky toy. In fact, I was a little bit frightened of those squeekers. Mommy went out and bought me a squeeky "doggy news" and I just was not interested. Well, last night my human sister stepped on the squeeky doggy news and something just made me pounce on it!!!! I pawed at it and ran with it in my mouth!! It was actually kind of fun. Everyone was clapping and saying "good girl" and seemed really happy. Then they started throwing it and I would run and get it and bring it back. Why didnt I realize how fun this could be before now. I think I am gonna like this new TOY TOY. I wanna play some more!!!
