Well, I have to get a new bed. Or so my moms saids. One day she said was going to wash my bed. It was about time, it was loosing it shape or something. One thing though, I forgot to tell her about a little something that happened to it.
What happen was, I kinda got a little hungry and I kinda bit it. .... a little ... through the cover .. to get to the soft part inside.. kinda. A little bit, boy did she talk to me in a loud voice. Pointing and stuff, what's up with that.
Anyway, it's just a day bed. So I think I'm getting a new one for Christmas. Anyway, my cousins will be here in two weeks! Hooray! And won't I have a surprise for Mimi!!!!

Well, my birthday has come and gone. But I am still growing and having a blast. I've learned so many things. Like, i learned how to stand and sit. I know they call that round thing a ball. I love my ball, it's so so round. Hey all you guys, you need to tell your mom about this stuff called Frosty Paws. I got it for my birthday. It's ice cream for pups, it's the best stuff I've had yet. Mom said it looks like the stuff she used to get when she was in grade school. Whatever that means, its in a little round container.
The first time I had it, I didn't come up for air for 10 minutes, and when I did she said I must have gotten a brain freeze, and then I burped.
Well in a few weeks, it will be Thanksgiving, and I get to have a bone of my own. I'm so excited, I can't wait!

Well, it's been a long time since I've added any entries to my journal. So I'll have to catch you up. I've been growing up and getting bigger everyday. I'm upto about 18 pounds and had my "ahem" surgery. I've spent Thanksgiving and Christmas with Peanut and Mimi. And last week, I had my first roadtrip.
It was really different. We traveled from North Carolina to Missouri. Me, Mom, Dad and moms' grandson. 14 hours, well maybe 15 hours. It was really different.
They'd stop every so often, and mom put this thing on me. It went around my back and had a long fat stringy thing on it. Usually, I just stand still when she makes me wear it. But I was so thankful to get out the car, I really got to the point that I didn't mind. She'd tell me to go pot. I'd sniff around to find a good spot, but it's not quite like at home. I looked at her and said, "Here's my pad. It's no good without my pad."
But I had a wonderful time in Missouri, I got to visit Mimi and Peanut. Mimi, she's different, she's not like me and Peanut. She's wishy washy, sometimes we'd play and sometimes we'd fuss and play fight. She's sneaky though, you can tell look at her eyes.
On the way back home, Mom had one of my pads and again she'd stop outside and say go pot and this time she'd put my pad down. But I'd just look at her and say I need walls and and a toilet. I need privacy. So I just held it till we got home. oh boy, talk about relief."

I've been pretty busy since the last time we've talked. Mommy has gone back to work, and so I've been spending my days in my kennel, until Dad gets home. Which isn't so bad, he' s usually home by 2:30.
I've got a lot of stories, that I'll have to get listed. But this is one I'm a little concerned about. One night, my mom came home and was working on my kennel. The door was out of line. Well she worked on it, and we went on doing what we do every night.
When it was time for me to go to bed, mommy put me in the kennel. Well I woke up, and I started playing in my kennel. Like I do every night. Well, Low and Below the door opened.
So I climbed out, cause I could see where everything is (Because Mom, leaves the light on in the aquariam - so I can see what the fish are doing - it's part of my job to watch em.) Anyway, I thought I'd see what goes on upstairs at 4:30 in the morning.
I tipped upstairs, but it was kinda a dark up there. I think they need my fish tank light or something, cause I heard mom tell dad to turn the light on. Then she told him she heard something. She was kinda scared or something, cause she said something about there either was a mouse in the house or I was loose.
So quess what, Dad turned the light on and there I was. Anyway, I got to sleep in the bed a couple of hours. It was great! I was planning spending the next night, but the door hasn't opened like that since.
I wonder why? and I wonder if they ever get lights upstairs.

This weekend I had my first sleep over. It was a bunch of fun. My mom was a little nervous, because I've grown so much since my last visit to Mebane. She was so scared I was going to have an accident. And I had a little one, but it was just the one.
I really didn't know what was going on, she took up my food dish. But she didn't put it back in the regular place, and then her and dad took my kennel apart, that was really confusing. But once we got in the car I got really calmed down and enjoyed the ride.
It was a good evening with Madison and Little Keith. We played and played and when it was time for bed, mommy put me in my kennel. I had to whine a little because I really wasn't sure what the world was going on. But once she called my name, I realized that everything was going to be okay, and went to sleep.
I slept really good, my dad said he didn't sleep good. But I couldn't tell the difference. Mom said he made more noise than I did. I can't wait till this weekend to do it again!!!!!

Yes, you heard it. I am King of all I view. I have conquered the dreaded 13 Step Master known to my mom and dad as "The Stairs". It wasn't easy, but I conquered it, of course with a little help from my mom.
I've been growing every day, and one day; I decided to go upstairs by myself. But I'd get stuck. My mom decided, that she was going to come and get me one more time. And when she did, she sat down beside me. She loves me so much. She sat down beside me, and took my front paws. It wasn't easy because I had dug into the carpet on the steps pretty tight. And then she took one of my back paws and slide it down to where my front two paws were. And finally we were at the bottom. We did this two or three times back to back. So I could figure out what to do with my paws and where they go. She did that until I wasn't terrified. Then the last time she put me at the top of the stairs and on every other step she put some snacks for me. And I made it down all the way by myself.
Graduation !!!!
Now I can do it all myself!!!!
Sunday, I even went all the downstairs and came back with one of my toys!!!

Yesterday, there was an incident where my dad told something on me. You see all day long my mom had been saying she was smelling something unpleasant all day long. I had no idea what she was talking about. I spoke to her to assure her that all poop had been properly contained in a shielded plastic wrapper and secured in the proper receptacle. Anyway, dad came home we talked, we played and we ate.
Then as he was going to get something from the laundry room, he saids, "Kay (that's my mom's name). Treys' had an accident." How untrue. I've learned where to put my poop. My mom very calmly said. "Ok, everybody stay calm, this has to be handled with kid gloves." Because she knows that my poop tends to have a noxious odor if not handled correctly. She began to carry the paper and the febreze. Then my dad said, "Kay, look where he did it." and pointed behind the recliner.
She got up and looked behind the recliner.
WHAT!!!! WHAT???? What did I do wrong? There was newspaper on the floor, it looked like my potty pads. I just thought I had advanced to the "New and Improved Designer Model", the ones with pictures and stuff.
Man, can a pup get a break? Well it couldn't be so bad, I got it all on the paper.

Well, as the days go by I continue to reveal my genius.
Mom has discovered a couple of my favorite games. They are similar in nature, but the approach is different.
The first one is called: SNEAK A NIP. This is how it's played, I lick and lick and lick, until my victim has achieved a false sense of security. Then I nip 'em.
The second game is called: NIP and RUN. In this game, I sneak up on my victim, usually in a running gait and Nip and Run Away. Boy, it sure is fun (for me at least)!

This week, I learned to climb the steps in my new home. It wasn't as scary as I thought, in fact it was a breeze. I got so I can run all the way up. Somebody should have told me it's still scary as heck coming down. Mommie still has to carry me down.
I also learned how to climb up on the couch, all by myself. I did it. Somebody should have told me not to get down by myself. I fell off just as soon as Mommie left the room. Somebody really should have told me.
