annoying dogs

The nice girls that live next door did something very dumb, they got a big stupid annoying dog named Molly. Now usually I get along with everyone, but all this dog does is bark...all...day...long!!! And until I get to officially meet her nose to nose (or nose to butt) she just ticks me off and aggrivates me and makes me bark back at her. I'm just trying to yell at her that she needs to be quiet and that I rule this neighborhood! Mom doesn't like it when I bark so I get banished to the couch and I pout for the rest of the night while Kanoa gets to run in and out of the house as he pleases. No fair!

The vet is fun

I don't really know why Kanoa freaks out when he has to go to the vet cause I think he is really cool. Dr. Tom is super nice to me and I don't mind going at all. They did stick me with a needle to test my vaccination levels and they put some yucky stuff in my nose, but I got lots of treats and kisses and hugs from everyone, I didn't mind the bad stuff. Mom says I'm getting too fat now that I can't go to daycare anymore (cause my other knee might get messed up). I think I might be eating more now too since there is always food out for Kanoa's skinny butt. Oh well, maybe we can all go on two walks a day instead of one. That would be fun. Kanoa needs to learn about daylight savings time, he is driving me nuts in the morning I think it gets on mom's nerves too. Dad's usually gone by the time Kanoa thinks it's time to get up, but the rest of us have to suffer. If it were up to me, we would all sleep in until noon.

Rain stinks!

I realllllly don't like the rain. I am a princess you know and wet paws are just plain gross. I try my best to stay inside and dry for as long as I possibly can. But eventually... I gotta go and do my business. So I've found that if I just stay about a foot away from the doggy door, I can stay dry! So I just do my business there right on the door mat right outside the door. Well that works out just great for me, I don't get into trouble for "going" inside the house and I get to stay dry. Well, mom doesn't really see it that way. She opens the door and steps outside right into my.... well, you get the idea. She couldn't get mad at me cause I went outside, but she wasn't real happy about it either. Oh well, at least I'm dry right?!
