i had been wanting a dog since i was 7, and when i turned 10, my mom brought Rocky home one day. we grew up with each other year after year. it was easy to remember his age because not only was his birthdate one day apart from mine, but to get his age i would simply remove the first digit from mine. when he turned 1, i turned 11, when he turned 2, i turned 12. when i was younger i had wanted a little brother. when i turned 10, i got my little brother.
