I found something!

So, my humans took me and Miklos walking this past weekend. We met up with a bunch of pals and walked all around a park and some private property. Since we were on private property, we were allowed to be off leash, and since I was such a good girl, my parents took my leash off completly.

I was running through the woods when I found this smell I had never smelled before. I immediately changed coiurse and started sniffing for the weird smell. My mommy called me a couple of times, but I had to find this smell. Andthen, there it was! This lump of rock smelled *weird*!

Well, my mommy and daddy were calling me, so I picked this rock up and took it to them. Maybe they know this thing is. I ran through the woods as fast as I can go, and burst through the woods and see mommy! Yay!

I drop this thing, and she says "What do you have there?" I was hoping she'd tell me. Then she starts laughing and called Daddy over. Mommy and Daddy look at this weird rock I brought them and keep laughing. THey say it's an *animal* and it's called a "turtle." I thought it was just a weird smalling rock! I've never seen anythiung like this before. Anyway, they didn't want me to keep it, so I had to leave it in the woods. I sure hope it's there when I go back. Maybe I'll lick it a few times to let the animal know I didn't want to hurt it. It was just too weird to pass up.
