Being cold or wet, when her bunny is stuck somewhere and she can't get it, losing her bunny, when Mom comes home late from work.

Favorite Toy:
There are actually two bunnies. One is an actual bunny that she selected from my bed on the day she came to live with us, and the other is a little bear I had that reminded me of someone I used to date. The bunny has lost an ear, now, and both are filthy.

Favorite Food:
Cookies. Tessie has a sweet tooth.

Favorite Walk:
The walk to the car, because what fabulous adventures await a ride in the car!

Best Tricks:
She dances in circles when people come in the door, she walks on her hind feet to beg or to see out the window, and she performs amazing one-dog aerial feats of flinging with her bunnies.

Arrival Story:
I was looking around Portland for a smaller dog to adopt, but couldn't find one. My big dog Holly had died, and my little dog, Zoe, was very sad and had stopped eating. So while visiting my mom, I called PAWS up in Washington state, and left a message that I would take any dog that was female, fixed, friendly, and under 35 pounds. Then I went home. The PAWS people called my mom the next day, she and my dad went to see Tessie, and she ended up riding home on my mom's lap that same day. She's the smartest muffin face ever.

Bio:
Previously, Tessie lived with a tiny little old lady in a tiny little trailer. All her walking had to be done on a leash. She likes our house, with all the kids and hubbub and of course, Zoe. It took them three years to learn to play together, though, because they are both pretty beta, and neither one would boss the other around. Now they play, and it's very cute.
