Other dogs--he thinks they have bad intentions toward humans. And when Toby is eating his dog chow from the bowl that Mason wants. And when Toby is drinking water and Mason wants Toby to let him drink, and Toby ignores his AlphaDog overtures.

Favorite Toy:
Strangely enough, he isn't into toys.

Favorite Food:
Dog bisquits.

Favorite Walk:
Any walk, anywhere, any time is his favorite. He also loves strolling through the nursing home and giving the residents "pet therapy."

Best Tricks:
heeling without a leash, sit and lay on command

Arrival Story:
I woke up one morning in 1992 and said, "Today I am going to get another Boxer." And I did. His dogMa and her sister had both had litters together, and I had 13 pups to choose from. Should have been a difficult decision, but I was drawn to him. It has turned out to be a wonderful dog/human relationship.

Bio:
He is a pure Boxer, not that it matters. He is almost 12 (on May 2 2004) but looks years younger. He still has the energy and bounce of a youthful Boxer. He is one of the lights of my life (along with his boxer brother Toby, who is not a blood relative of Mason's). He passed his Therapy Dogs evaluation in late June 2004 and is awaiting his official certification. Mason left me to be a doggie angel on November 18, 2004. He went from super healthy to having multiple seizures in just six weeks. Letting go was such a difficult decision and I miss him so much, but I couldn't let my best buddy suffer. He is the light of my life and will live on forever in my heart and memories.
