Growing Up.

Woofles, everyone!

It's been ages since I've last been able to manipulate the keyboard- see, now they've got some fingerprint thingamajig, and I've only been able to use the keyboard once every, say, gazillion years.

Zhezhe says I'm "all grown up now!" and she's "so proud of you!", because I'm turning three this year, and apparently, I've been playing less cheeky cards. I just run around the house without jumping up and biting them anymore. Well, most days, anyway...

Just because I've matured doesn't mean I can't do puppy things, you know. I still like being babied and rocked when I'm sleepy. I also still rely on Zhezhe's lullabies. And now I wonder why I'm revealing all these embarrassing pieces of information.

Oh well, here's the update I *KNOW* you all have been sitting on the edges of your seats waiting for! I've missed all my dogster pals, and I'm wishing you fantabulous dogs God bless in the "train the owner" field.

That's about it for now, I send all my love (still in the form of puppy licks and pawshakes, of course- growing up doesn't mean I've got no traces of puppy, remember?)

Missing You, Dear Brother Shaun

It's funny how everything happens so fast- we've moved from the home they brought me back to when I was a puppy to this new, weird place. And I miss my brother Shaun so much. I want to go back to see him, and zhezhe really wants to too. She promises to go back to see him. And promises are meant to be kept....... aren't they?

The whole family has been taking down everything and chucking stuff into cardboard boxes the past few weeks. I've been carrying a worried look on my face, wandering around the house, trying to jump into the cardboard boxes and remove everything and put them back in their original positions, except mum didn't let me. When mum took down her oil paintings, I tugged at her pantsleg and looked at her, signalling "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! NO, MUM, PUT IT BACK WHERE IT BELONGS!" except she wouldn't.

And now this. A new house. A new life.

Without Shaun. Missing you, brother Shaun, please, can you hear me???

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Boohoo. I spent my 2nd birthday alone with zhezhe. Dad was working, mum was sick, granma either didn't care or didn't bother, and 2nd zhezhe was too busy watching tv. So, zhezhe cooked paella for me on account of her baking oven being stubborn and deciding not to work. Well, I ate it alright. And it was really nice. But I wished that I had more people to celebrate with me.. I love zhezhe. She's always there for me, no matter what. Even when she's sick. At least SHE remembers my birthday and takes it into careful consideration...

*sigh* my first-ever lonely birthday. And now I'm two.

Granma's BACK!

Oh gosh, today I was just sleeping in the yard, when I heard the doorbell *RINGGG*!!! I ran to the main door and barked my head off, and when daddy FINALLY opened the door (his reflexes are REALLY SLOOOWWWWW) I SAW GRANMA!!! And because I'm scared of granma and her very big monster luggage bags I dashed into Daddy and Mummy's room and hid cowering under the bed. And then! Granma came into the room and called "Springer!" in that STERN VOICEE... I was scared she'd "discipline" me (whatever "discipline" means, she always uses that word before she gives me a scolding) so I crawled out from under the bed and looked at her with my "HUGE ROUND HAZEL EYES" (that's how she describes my eyes) and she GAVE ME A GREAT BIG HUG!!! Then she gave me a GREENIE! (YUMMILICIOUS...) and then I settled down to eat it beside her. Then after that I licked her whole face and took that chance whilst she went to wash her face to run away again. HAHAHA! I'm too smart. You can bow down to me now.

Gotta go, zhezhe's comingggggg.....

MY COUSINS!!!

I tell you ah, my cousins from overseas have come over by something called an airplane (hmm...sounds familiar...i think i've rode in it before to come to Singapore... if it's that scary thing wherei get loaded with lots of luggage bags, then, YEAH!). When they stepped in through the door, they gave me a mini RAWHIDE BONE!!! I chased them all 0over the house, tying to jump on them. I was really excited I kept on whimpering and barking! But then I got brought back to my yard for what zhezhe calls "bad behaviour". (I shall pretend I do not know the meaning of that phrase...) so...I'm in my yard...planning my escape... TO THE LIVING ROOM! AHAHAHAHHA!!

Zhezhe's been trying out new recipes lately. (She bakes lots of stuff for dogs.) And I'm glad she did because she got me to be her product tester, and it sure was yummy! I wolfed it down in just a matter of seconds and that was my meal for the day. It included all sorts of biscuits and muffins and cakes and stuff, so I was quite satisfied after that. Then I bounced around and catapulted around the place like a ping-pong ball with lots of zest. When I finally collapsed in a heap on the sofa, I was dizzy and very very happy, with a cheeky grin on my face. After that, Shaun came down to finish his portion of the testers that zhezhe had reserved for him. He liked it too. I was trying to steal some from him but he growled for me to back off so I lay on my back with my tummy-tum-tum up and started whining. Then zhezhe carried me away kissing my forehead and trying to sooth me. Poor Shaun (NOT!) he was left all alone...Heeheehee....I know I seem very evil but nevermind. He doesn't share his food!!! Anyways, so after that, when Shaun finished eating, we all sat on the couch and watched this movie called "Murder She Purred". Hey! I SAW A CORGI IN IT!!! But funny thing, he could speak english. HMM...

PHOTOSHOOTS AGAIN!?!?

I hear zhezhe mumbling something about bringing me to another photoshoot. She says this: "This time we gotta make an album of photos. When are we booking the photoshoot? I want a christmas photo of him as well, christmas hat and all. We have to make sure he will be kept cool though. Oh yeah, there's aircon in the studio." and blablabla. I have a feeling they will be dressing me up and putting me in props. *GRRRRR* I DON'T WANNA GOOOOOOO!!!!!!! But I sort of do I guess...anyways I get loads of treats and then I am brought out for a LOOOOOOONG walkie after! YAYYYYYYYY! By the way, Shaun came over today. Poor him, he got dressed up in sunglasses and all sorts of stuff from around the house for a home-made photoshoot. Zhezhe says they can only bring me to the studio for photoshoots, so to make up for it she is doing a home one! AHHAHAHA!!!!! When I laughed at Shaun, he replied with a "JUST YOU WAIT! This misery will befall on you too." Oops. Just realised what he said IS going to be true. I'm going to the STUDIO! AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! CODE RED!!!!!!!! CODE RED!!!!!!!!!!!!

BOUNCE! BOUNCE! BOUNCE!

WHEEE! I HAVE LEARNT SOMETHING NEW. It's called.......CATAPULTING! WHEEEEEEEEEEE! By now you should know that I have FINALLY ben granted access up the COUCH (YES!) as long as I don't spoil it...so yesterday I was bouncing around the couch when I realised something: THE COUCH CAN BE USED AS A TRAMPOLINE! I trampolined around and then I catapulted to the floor. It was nice, really. Especially since when I'm catapulting I can FLY! for a few seconds anyway...so once I hit the floor I'd go on the couch and BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE! again, and then "fly" to the floor! YAY!!! SSSOOOOOOOOO fun! Too bad for Shaun (NOT!) he can't go catapulting with me because he sat on a durian and at the vet's they sliced off his butt!

(Okay they didn't slice off his butt, I think they put some weird smelling stuff on it...)

SHE-WHO-MAY-NOT-BE-OBEYED IS BACK!

She-who-may-NOT-be-obeyed (zhezhe) is BACK! This time, daddy, mummy, 2nd zhezhe and zhezhe all left me at one go REALLY early in the morning on Wednesday. I was awoken by zhezhe at about 4.30 a.m. (WHAZZAMA!?!?!?) as she rushed into my yard, switched on the REALLY bright lights (OH MANNNN.....) mumbled some stuff to me about how I must be a good boy when she's gone and she gave me a few kisses on my head and nose and then switched off the lights and left. Just when I thought that I was given the peace, tranquility and darkness to sleep, DADDY came into my yard, switched on the lights, gave me a few pats on my head (my eyes were half-closed at that moment), mumbled something else about not giving a hard time to the maid (Okay maybe he was not MUMBLING, but it's so early in the morning and I was so sleepy I didn't hear it quite properly anyway) and then left. And THEN I could sleep. But then after a while, I heard loads of luggage wheels rolling, the main door opening. I whined and whined because I knew what would follow after that: Days of no daddy, mummy, 2nd zhezhe and zhezhe. They had always left me right after the rolling of luggage wheels, door opening and door closing. I whined to get them to come bakc but that didn't work. Then they closed the door.


BUT GUESS WHAT??? THEY CAME BACK TODAY AFTERNOON! I jumped up to give them a warm welcoming reception which was inclusive of jumping onto them, toppling them over, licking them all over and barking adn loads of stubby-tail-wagging and my very best happy, contented facial expression. Then I jumped around and yipped and yapped as if I were chasing some imaginary butterfly. Well, I was very happy. And they all gave me pats on my head, and zhezhe gave me her big bear-hugs and she scratched my favourite spots (which are behind my ears, on my tummy and on my chin and chest). She gave me a few kisses on my nose as well. I barked and barked to scold her for being away for so long. And thens he went to bathe, then raced to her laptop, kissed it and used it for a while, then went to greet her small fat roly-poly-olie. (the small fat roly-poly-olie I am referring to is her guinea-pig, Mochi Dutchess. But she calls Mochi either Mochi or Mochi-Wochi-Mochi-Fatty for some weird reason. She never uses the Dutchess.) Then she noticed me watchign her every move, hoisted me up on the chair she uses when she does her computer-ing, and then sat on another chair next to me. THen she brought me to dogsforum to see pictures of my love! BUTA! Oh! I LOVE HER! I LOVE HER! My sweet, fair, lady. My Juliet! The love of my life! When, oh when, will she ever be mine?
