i love playing fetch with my rubber basketball (a present from aunti cheryl). if you drop a napkin or papertowel on the floor, i like to grab them and violently rip them apart with my teeth until they turn into millions of pieces! roar!
Favorite Food:
i will eat anything. even lettuce.
Favorite Walk:
anywhere and everywhere.. but not for too long because i get tired. i will sit on my butt in the middle of the street when im tired. the neighbors laugh when mommy tries to drag me on my butt.
Best Tricks:
sit. down. give me the ball. dance!
Arrival Story:
one day a small black pup crawled onto our front porch and made the porch his home for an unknown amount of days. he was scared, shaking and hungry. after i saw him i immediately fell in love with him! he was the cutiest thing!!! i gave him a bath, fed him, and we played in the backyard. after a few minutes, he was no longer scared and fell asleep in my lap, and that's when he became a permanent part of our family. i love him :)
Bio:
oakie loves to eat, poop, bark, play, fetch, and run; in that order. he poops four times a day sometimes! maybe i feed him too much, but he is always begging for more and more food, and i cannot resist his cute hungry little face. he looks like a teddybear/ewok. oakie loves to chase squirrels, cats, or basically anything that moves. he's very protective of me, so he might bark at you the first time he meets you. but dont let that fool you. if you get close enough to him, he'll hold his tail between his legs and run away! sheesh!! :-)

today was the happiest day of my life.. well, happy after my 3 hr bath and haircut. mommy was determined to get all the knots out of my curly fur, and that was no fun. she cut all my fur off; i look like i lost 10 lbs!
anyway, after my bath, some familiar and unfamiliar non-doggy beings that looked like my mommy walking on 2 legs and petting me with their two arms came over. my neck was sore from look up at them all the time, but i enjoyed all the belly rubs. the guests were very messy; they dropped a lot of food on the floor. but im not complaining. i ate more than i have ever before, but im not worrying about my weight -- i took a big doggie poopoo outside afterwards.
i love it when mommy has guests over. i get to eat whatever i want, and i get all the attention i want! and today there was an extra lot of guests. what a happy day for me!!!
ps- i also humped a leg for the first time in my life (im 35 in doggie years!). three legs and one arm to be exact. mommy wasnt too happy about that.
