Arrival Story:
I was checking on my In-Laws cats while they were on vacation. I noticed this small animal out of the corner of my eye and thought I had accidently let one of the cats out of it's pen. When I looked closer there was this skinny, scrawny almost hairless puppy looking up at me with sad eyes. I rushed into the house to call my local Vet letting them know I was bringing in a stray puppy that needed care. I used one of the cat carriers to transport him and away I went. I thought the worst would be the fate of this ugly little dog, however other than be undernurished he only had Sarcoptic Mange (sp). I called my husband to bring a big cardboard box home from work as I had to isolate him away from my other two dogs. I made him a nice corral outside with lots of warm blankets inside his box. Boy, did he ever like that box! When the weather turned bad we spent a hundred dollars on an Egloo dog house while he was still in quarantine and he hated it. I really didn't want the dog and tried desperately to have the local animal organizations to take him, but nobody wanted him. As time passed he worked his way into our hearts and once inside the house he never left. He has been great dog so far and we love him dearly.

Bio:
People are cruel near where my In-Laws live. They fight dogs and use strays for bait. This is the second dog I have rescued from down there. The lucky ones somehow find there way to my In-Laws place where they always get treated nicely. My Mother In-Law has probably taken in well over a dozen dogs and numerous cats. She has spent thousands on their care and makes sure they are either spayed or neutered. She is going to Heaven I am sure of it!
