Hoku aka Hoku-Baby, is a four-year-old cuteypug who lives in sunny Florida. Her name is Hawaiian and means “Star.” Hoku gave her heart to her husband pug on June 23, 2006, in a gala wedding that the tabloids are still woofing about. She married Odie the Talking Pug of television fame, and she is currently the star of her own snoring video on her page (puggies, you must woof on over and check this out!!). Hoku loves her Bruce Shark Toy (from Finding Nemo) and her human sister’s Stitch Disney hat. But what she loves most of all in the whole wide world (besides pizza crust) is her MOMMY!

Hoku is a well rounded pug, having experienced many of the exciting things life has to offer. She has met a goat and she barked like a big dog during the solemn Blessing of the Animals Event. She is also sweet and thoughtful, and always remembers everydoggy’s birthday with a beautiful work of dogster art for their pages.

We can’t think of a cuter, rounder, sweeter hound to honor as featured puggy! Woof on over and give this baby girl some love!!!

Blessing of the Animals

Today was Blessing of the Animals at my hooman brother's school. I got to see LOTS of different animals, even a GOAT!!!! Or maybe that was just a weird dog in need of a Diva Make-over!! Anyway, I barked like a BIG-DOG & made my presence known thorough the whole ceremony!!! Howie Pee-Pee would be proud of me!! Then I stared down the big dogs & intimidated a couple of cats. Then the Deccan came & put water on me, I thought I was going to get a drink....then I met my hooman brothers classmates, got my picture taken, and as we were leaving & left a load!! All mommy had was some deposit slips, so she scooped it up & we had to ride in the car home with it. Well, it's time for me to take a 3 hour long nap now!!

Dogsters Odie and Hoku got married this past weekend! Always the leaders in fashion, the pair held their wedding at DisneyWorld in Florida! Talk about the top of society, Hoku and Odie had five sets of attendants including fellow Pugs Kingstar Louie, Skippy, Baby Nay, Howard Pee PugPants, Baby Brutus, Birdie, Tallulah Belle, Samson, Xena, Ralfee, Pug of Honor Bella and Best Pug Elliot Jay. Judge Winnie WigglePants presided. Here’s the report from Kingstar’s Louie.

I just wanted you to know that we celebrated a big wedding ceremony this weekend at Disney World between Odie (the talking Pug) and Hoku. It was celebrated in style at the Wedding Pavilion and a reception that followed. The following day all guests were invited to the Magic Kingdom Park by Mr. and Mrs. Odie Pug. We all had a great time on all the rides and park attractions. You may find slideshows of the wedding on Mrs. Hoku’s website.

Sad News

Mommy got bad news today & has been crying in bed, so I haven't left her side.
She got a phone call from her mommy and was told that her very close cousin was killed today, (Saturday). Since mommy was an only child, she & her cousin, who was also an only child, spent a lot of time together. They were less than a year apart, & even went to the same Jr. High.
Her cousin, Michelle Hart, was killed by a driver of a stolen car that crashed into her house hitting her while she was on her sofa watching TV. Her two young daughters were upstairs, and were “physically” unharmed. The suspect(s) fled the scene. That's all we know as of now.

Michelle lived in Virginia Beach with her husband & her two sweet daughters. Mommy saw her a little over a year ago, & I got to meet her too. After seeing me, Michelle wanted a pug of her own. I hope there are lots of puggies giving her kisses in heaven right now.
Well, I gotta go, mommies eyes are leaking again. We might not be on Dogster as much for a while, until she has some closure.

Please NEVER leave your keys in your ignition, not even for a couple of minutes. This is how the Jeep, that killed my dear cousin, was stolen. By the time the owner of the Jeep came out of the convenience store to find the car gone & called police, it had already crashed into the home of my cousin, pinning her underneath it. I’m devastated with this news, & I hope those who are responsible for her death will come forward, or be caught.

I'm Getting Married!!!!

Odie & I are getting married!! We haven't set a date yet, but it will be soon!!

My Dream Wedding:

This would be my dream wedding:
I’d get married to Odie at Walt Disney Worlds Wedding Pavilion, overlooking the lake with Magic Kingdom in the background. We’d have all our Dogster Pals there with their hooman family too. After we finished our vows, & exchanged our matching collars, we’d take a ride in the carriage and we’d hit the parks for “Dogster Day at Disney”, we’d ride the rides, watch the parades, shop at the doggie stores, eat at Cinderella’s Castle. We’d visit the Bakery on Main Street USA too. After a long day, we’d go back to out hotel at the Grand Floridian Spa & Resort, where we’d snuggle up spoony style to sleep the night away. The next morning we’d wake up to room service at our door. All the doggie goodies we could ever wish for would be on our tray, and then we’d go for our spa treatment. We’d meet everypuggie for lunch, and then hit another park, Odie’s choice, then we’d hold paws & watch the fireworks that night.
Ahhh, if only it could be true!!!
BUT, I’ll settle for anything, just to be with Odie, and to be his puggie wife!!

A confession:

I have a confession to make....sometimes I pee on the bathroom rugs...in both bathrooms!! I don't know why I do it, I have an indoor doggie litterbox & mommy takes me outside...I guess I just think I should add my perfume here & there. Mommy hurries up & washes the rugs before mean ol daddy finds them!! Then I have to do it again. At least a couple of times a month. Even when mommy buys pretty new rugs from the store, I "bless" them too!! My hooman siblings always rat me out, "Mommy, Hoku went pee in the bathroom again". But I still love them..ha-ha, extra "Pug-Rain" for them!!
Oh, what a load off my chest to get that out!!

Today is one month that Odie & I have been together on Dogster!! So cute, right??!! We are going to celebrate by going to Wendy's & having a samich & a Frosty!!

Have you tasted Frosty Paws yet? I got my 1st taste today, and Ooo-La-La!!! It was so good, I don't know if I was even breathing while eating it!! Mommy had been looking for it ever since my buddies from FLOP, (For the Love of Pug), were talking about!! This is the original flavor, I can't wait until mommy can find the Peanut Butter Paws!! YEAH FROSTY PAWS!!! *licks messy face*
