Likes:
Dinner table scraps, filled doggie bones, stuffed toys, tummy rubs, cat toys, wagging his tail in your face, walks, kids and chasing a basket ball in the backyard.
Pet-Peeves:
The cat stealing his favorite chair, lights on when he is trying to go to sleep, loud trucks, people who don't like dogs.
Favorite Toy:
He doesn't have one. He loves stuffed toys that he can rip apart and find the squeaker.
Favorite Food:
Anything from the table, cat food.
Favorite Walk:
Big plot of land filled with ticks! Yucky for us, heaven for him.
Best Tricks:
The "routine" he sits, shakes, lies down and rolls over all in one big frenzied blur of black fur. He does this for really good food treats like steak.
Arrival Story:
We went to the SPCA to get a dog. They brought him in as a tiny 8 pound fuzz ball. As soon as he sat on my lap he started licking my face. I turned to my husband and said, "He's the one!"
Bio:
Because he is a big strong dog we socialized him well and went to 2 different training courses with him. Big dogs aren't "bad" dogs as some of the press lately would have some think. Bad owners create bad dogs. It's unfair to blame any one breed or type of dog. Hershey is a huge love bug and loves everyone. He loves our cats and our kids. He truly is "the best dog in the world" as we always tell him.

I tried funny white crunchy stuff Mom called popcorn tonight! I LOVE it. I tried to catch it in my mouth when Mom tossed it to me. But, BOY is it hard to catch. Still....yum yum. I LOVE discovering new treats!
But, it kind of made me thirsty. I had to drink a WHOLE BOWL of toliet water afterwards!

So happy! Today is off leash walking day with my dog pals at Smilin' Dogs. I LOVE them! I hope I don't get too many new ticks. Mom hates that. But, she deals and Dad picks them off me and then I get a treat! Yea!
