Check-in

Long time, no write. Sorry about that. Today is my "brother's" birthday. He is 4. Mom and dad came home with some new treats and two new toys. Supposedly they are Fonzie's, but, really, I can play with them all I want too.

This year (Oct.3) was my lucky 7th birthday. I am still as lively and perky as ever, and so smart I scare my people sometimes.

It is snowing out today, but it is more icy rainy stuff than the good stuff. Maybe later?

Anyway, just thought I'd say hey. Now, it is time for a nap.

More snow???

Boy, has this been some winter. Snowy and cold for months now. I love the snow, but when it is this cold, it is hard to spend much time outside without my beard getting all icy. And, when we were in the car the other day, on the way to the vet for some shots for me, it was too cold to even have the windows open for long. I don't like it when it is hot, but this IS getting kind of ridiculous!

My doctor's appt. went just fine. I weigh a nice, healthy symmetrical 66 lbs. For the last few months I have been doing really well eating just dry kibble...no smelly, mushy canned stuff for me anymore, except as a treat. I like the crunchies and not having my beard cleaned all the time!

So, all in all life is good. Valentine's day is coming -- I'M hoping for a new toy to pull the stuffing out of. If you have a spare one of those around, will YOU be my Valentine and send it to me??

May Day!

Today is my favorite type of May day...sunny, cool, both mom and dad offof work, and a whole weekend ahead.

Fonz and I played a bit earlier and now we are just lounging. He had a bath yesterday, and I must say that he smell MUCH better. He can be a stinky boy. Dad said something about a spa day for me too, but so far he has kept busy and maybe forgot (phew).

I've noticed more people outside these days now that the weather has gotten better. So much more fun to watch the world go by when there are people in it, not just boring birds and squirrels. I mean, don't get me wrong, those can be entertaining, but I am a people person, um, dog myself.

Fonz has that nap kind of look in his eye, so I'd beter claim my spot next to mom for our siesta.

Good Day

HappyTuesday! I am having a very good day. I ate TWO meals today (I tend to be picky due to this tummy thing I have called IBD). But, even my plain old prescription food tasted pretty good to me. Fonzie and I are enjoying the cooler weather. Mom and Dad have all the windows in the house open and so we can hear every sound that passes by...lots of cool things to bark at! Dad got home early from work today and so we get to spend time with both our favorite people...and run around after each other through the house like maniacs. I wasn't sure I'd like having a baby brother, but this Fonz kid is pretty okay (don't tell him I said that...I have to maintain my aloof demeanor about him and save some face!). Mom says Big Brother 6 comes on in a few. BIG brother? I know what that is like. Fonz outweighs me by 30 lbs.! Bye for now!

Today is Sunday, one of my favorite days because my mom and dad are both home from work, but dad is out working on his boat with a friend. Why he didn't take me is beyond me! So, mom, Fonz, and I are just hanging at home having a lazy day. I don't have too much to say in this first entry, so I am going to go downstairs where it is cooler and take a nap or look out the window. Ciao!
