What's up....

...with The Bark Board? It's not up to date at all. Is it just me or is anyone else having a problem? I'm gonna pawmail the HQ...just in case.

What a week!!

I tell ya pups, I'm exhausted...Mom was off all week and I had a great time!!

First I went with Daddy to pick up Mom from her trip to Atlanta. I know, not that exciting. But hey, a car ride is a car ride!

Then, I went to work with Mom for a minute so she could do a little mid-vaca paperwork. I was soooooo good. I just laid there in her office, minding my own business. Then I went out on the sales floor with her so everyone could enjoy my good looks. I was such a good boy, I got my very own burger at the Burger King!!

Mom and Dad were took me to The Petnation Lodge for a sleepover. I stayed in a room next to a Weinmaraner and was a perfect gentleman. I also got a bath...boo...but I do smell better.

Mom and my sister took me to the Beggin' Bacon Bash on Saturday. It was International Bacon Day (what? you didn't know that?) To celebrate, Purina sponsored the bash. There were games, bacon cooking demos, a pool to measure the longest dog jump after a ball, dog maze, agility course, and FREE BEGGIN' STRIPS!!!!!!!!! I was the only Dober there, but there were so many other doggies. Big ones, little ones, loud ones, Dachsies, Pitties, Labbies, mutts....it was fantastical!

Later, that same day was our neighborhood's block party. I got to come and play with the neighborhood dogs (and got some smoked pork!) I started actin' kinda ugly so Mom took me home. The other dogs were gettin on my nerves, so I was kinda growly-nothin bad, just growly.

All in all it was a monumental week for the Jarv Dawg!! Hope everypup has a safe and happy Labor Day tomorrow!!

She's home!!!

My Mom is back from Hotlanta! She did not bring me any souvenirs though. Oh well, I don't care!! Dad took me with him to pick her up last night...she was soooo surprised to see me!

I've been doing the Happy Dog Dance all day! I had some eggs with her for breakfast and some chippies with her for lunch. Then we had a nap together....

I'm a happy Dober!!

*sniff*

That's me...sucking up my tears...because Mom went away for work...I get up in the morning and put my chin pitifully on her side of the bed, trying to get sympathy from Daddy....he is no help....not as good a snuggler as Mom...

*sniff*

Daddy assures me she'll be home late tonight. I will cry in the meantime....

Life on the outside

I'm a free dog again!!! The invisible fence has been repaired and I no longer need supervision in the yard. I can poo without being watched (it's just creepy...)

I still have to be a Lamphead at night on account of my skinned knee. Can't stop the lickin!!

But I can run in my yard now with no fear!!!

*actually it was only Mom and Dad who had the fear, I thought this whole broken fence/gettin hit by a motorcycle thing was all fun and games*

Good news and Bad news

Good news:
I had a great Woofday! Thanks for all the prezzies and notes and well wishes!!
I am out of jail on Tuesday, if not sooner!
I am fine, just a skinned knee (this will make sense in a minute)

Bad news:
I darted into the street and got clipped* by Mom and Dad's friend's motorcycle (see above - I am fine)
I have to wear The Cone of Shame (so I don't lick off the Neosporin - that stuff is tasty!!)

*Before the Biker Dude could get his had to the brake, I zigged when I shoulda zagged. Mom and Dad didn't even know that it happened. I didn't yelp or anything!! All that happened was that I got my feets knocked out from under me and scraped up my knee. Mom was up most of the night checking on me, over-reacting as usual. Dad and my sis are home with me today. I'm just gonna lay around and get lovins and extra care. It's great actually, they're catering to my every need!!! Also, it put my house on top priority for the fence people. We're scheduled for repair on Tuesday, but if a cancellation comes up they come to us first :)

I'll keep you all pupdated on my recovery/parole!!

Did you know...
