Christmas cards....

Mom bought me a very embarrassing collar for my annual Christmas photo. If anyone wants to see my humiliation, drop me a paw mail with your address! If you got one last year, I still have your address. Unless you moved (Sunny - did you move?) If not, I'd love to share the shame of this collar!!!

Happy and exhausted

That's me. Mom and Dad decided that the week before the family is coming for Thanksgiving would be a perfect time to remodel the family room. Yea....perfect. They've been running around like fools trying to get it done. Fools I tell you. Of course, I had to supervise all the work. AND my friends (well Mom and Dad's friends) Jamie and Angie were here working too!!! I had to greet and supervise. Please keep in mind that the family room is my happy place. My lookout post/sunbathing spot by the back door is in there. My sofa and my chair are in there. I've chewed and clawed that furniture to perfection. I had to go without those comforts for an entire week.....

But it was finished last night. It is beautiful!! Mom got a new cover for the sofa. She put the blankie that Ella sent me on the chair. I slept soooooo good last night. It was bliss!

And today my grandpawrents and Uncle Todd are coming over!!! I gotta get another nap in before they get here. Happy Thanksgiving Everypup!!

Naughtiness...

Ella should be exonerated of all naughtiness committed recently. She sent me some pawsome treatses (and my Mom a Mickey snuggie for her bday) I even got an antler/horn thing-a-ma-bob. Mom says we can tie 'em to my head so I'll look like the dog from the Grinch cartoon. (I am against this.) Ella and her Mom rawk!!!! Thanks again y'all!! :o)

Humiliation...

...is over. My nails are neat and perfect. My butt has been milked. They even "flushed" my glands with some anti-biotic solution just in case. I'm clean as a whistle!!! And I still only weigh 70 lbs!! Glad we're done with all that vet nonsense...
Now don't I get a cheeseburger or somethin since I'm so dang skinny?!

The family gave me a bath yesterday. OK, I might have needed it. My feetses were a wee bit Fritoesque. Then Mom says I'm going to get a nail trim. Hate it, but it's a necessary evil. Then came the worst.... Mom and I were snuggling on her favorite blanket and she smelled it. *that* smell...the one that you can't ever deny is yours...After my pawdicure it looks like I'll have the dreaded anal glands expressed. (Dad says I have to get my butt milked) ~sheesh~

Not gonna be a good start to my week...

Weather

The weather is a-changin. I am a cold Dober dog, shakin and shiverin.... Daddy wraps me up in a blankie like a burrito at bed time. I need an electric blanket!!

Hershey

Today's dog diary is Hershey. We're not pals, but LOOK AT HIM!!! He's like a mini version of me...hehehe!!

Jarvis the Deer Hunter

That's right everypup. I hunted some deer last night. I am a hunter....Please note that I didn't actually catch anything!

Mom was opening the door for my bedtime squirt and I went nutsy cuckoo. Barking and growling and dancing as she opened the door. I stepped on her feetses trying to get out. This seems to anger the Mama, by the way. Anyhow, there were two large deer standing on the sidewalk across the street from our house. TWO LARGE DEER!! Mom quickly shut the door before I could get to them. What the woof?! She said she didn't want me runnin' like a loon into the street waking up the neighborhood. After a minute of relentless pacing and growling she let me out so I could get all the excitement out of my system. I bark, bark, barked at the evil deer to "get outta my 'hood!!!!" It worked. They were gone.

I am a hunter....

New food

Mom and Dad put me on a new kind of food. I have been eating Pedigree and just hadn't been enjoying it lately. Dad thought that I need to got premium - duh. So they bought me some Natural Balance (Large Breed - Lamb and Brown Rice). Let me tell ya pups, it is YUMMO!! It's still being mixed with Pedigree and I am lovin' it! I can't wait until it's all Natural Balance all the time....
