Here are the rules:

1. I am 2" too tall and about 20 lbs. underweight for the Doberman breed standard (the vet says my weight is just fine!)
2. I love to cuddle
3. My favorite place is in the sun in front of the sliding glass door
4. Mom and Dad think I actually caught a possum (I got sick one night and a couple of days later they found a severed possum head in the yard and blamed me! hehe! I'll never tell)
5. My favorite treat is when Mom gives me the empty peanut butter jar to lick clean
6. I have my very own blankie with my name on it
7. My favorite toy is a purple football. Sometimes I even take it to bed with me.

A day of Beauty.......

Mom and Dad took me to PetSmart. I got a bath, a tooth-brushin', and a pedicure. They put some sort of canine cologne on me. I smell so good!!!! They also gave me a bad-ass bandana to wear. It has Harley Davidson-like flames on it. Dad hates it. (He thinks dogs shouldn't wear clothes...whatever!) Mom says I look super cool! I feel good being a clean and happy boy!

Snow Day!

Blizzard conditions here in beautiful Cincinnati.....Mom may get a snow day and spend a Saturday here at home! See, she works retail and is gone EVERY Saturday. Now this may not mean much to some, but it's the only day that all my humans are here. Dad, 2 sisters, you get the point. Oh the joy of Mom being here as well!! Bring on the snow!!

So sad.....

It's not a good day for me.

1. Mom is sick. Nothin' bad. I hate to see her unhappy. But I am an excellent nurse-dog. I never leave her side ('cept when she goes to puke-YUK)

2. It's gray and rainy......*sigh*

3. Mom's friend's dog, Smokie died. We don't know what happened yet. The poor friend was so hysterical on the phone she could hardly talk.....

My Momma needs me......Keep happy Dogster thoughts for us today......*heavy sigh*

Better day today!

Today will be better than yesterday!

1. Mom is feeling better.

2. Still raining.....can't do much about that.

3. Turns out that Smokie was not dead! He was lost and his hysterical Mom assumed the worst. He was picked up by the SPCA and taken to Dog Jail. His Daddy paid his bond and Smokie was taken home. Yay!

I love holidays!!

I went to Granny and Poppa's house for the Easter festivities. I got to join in the egg hunt (they wouldn't let me keep any though) I got to run and jump and show off for the neighbors. Then the eating began....ham, mashed potatoes, whipped cream, turkey, pie crust, deviled eggs, cake. It was bliss!! My Poppa gave me some asparagus. I really wanted to eat it. I mean if he was having it, it must be good. No! I just left a mushy slobbery mess on the floor. Did I forget to mention the jelly beans?


Oh, how I love a holiday with my family!!

I've had a paw problem.....

There's a small crack in one of my paw pads! I have been leaving very small trails of blood everywhere.....my bed, Mom's bed, carpet, etc. Mom is a hypochondriac and called the vet and everystuff....I'M FINE CRAZY LADY!!!!
Next week, during my pedicure, the vet will check out the paw pad in question. I tried to tell her it was healed and none of this is necessary......CRAZY LADY!!! Really, I'm just trying to get out of the nail trimming. Oh the horror!!!

New Toy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, my dear Mom has purchased a new loofah dog for me!! WAHOO!! I shook it. I ran in circles with it. I then disemboweled it......got the squeaker out. I even left a trail of stuffing all over the house in case someone needs to find me. Now, I think I will nap with it under my head...... Mom even posted some photos for all Dogsters to enjoy. So happy!!
