I've been a busy pup- sorry I haven't written in a while!!!

It has been a crazy Summer- one day too hot, one day too cold and then a tornado!!
NYC has been having nutty weather.
So I have been going to the dog park with my buds, except when it is too hot, also I have been doing my therapy dog visits to the Library and reading with the kids and just hanging out with Mom- except when she went on vacation to a place called Israel and left me at home with my pal Nancy across the hall, but Mom called me a few times to say woof to me and she brought me back a toy camel that says "I Love You" over and over- tee, hee, hee!!!

Whew! I have been one busy pup, so I am off to nap nap land!!

Matt Damon smiled at me!!!

I had a major celeb sighting!! They are filming the Bourne Ultimatum in my 'hood, and he was standing on one of my favorite pee corners. They wouldn't let us walk there, but we walked across the street and he saw Mommy and me staring at him, and then he smiled- he is soooo cute!!!

Life is so cool in NYC!!!

Other than that, I am sad that agility class is over, but now that Spring is here. we are going to the dog park all the time again, and still reading every other Wednesday in the Library. fun times!!

I fly through the air with the greatest of ease.....

I had my first agility class last night and it was soooo much fun!!! It is being taught at the same doggy gym where I took puppy kindergarten and therapy dog training. It was so exciting to learn lots of new things- I ran through a tunnel and I jumped over small hurdles. I lso am beginning to learn some new tricks one is called "touch" where I have to touch Mom's hand with my nose, and anotehr called "spin"

Life is so cool!

Happy New Year!!!

Mom has certainly been slacking, but things have been busy! I have been visiting the NY Public Library and reading with lots of cool kids- I love being a therapy dog. The reading program is a lot of fun, and I helped a really shy boy open up and read out loud- I helped!!! Yay me!

In other news, I spent some time out in NJ when Mom had her bathroom renovated- There was lots of dust and chaos in the apt for a while, but now it is great- although I still hate the bath!!!

Hope everyone is great and I promise to make Mom update this regularly!

Sorry, it has been a while!

Mom has been slacking on the job- she hasn't given me the opportunity to update you guys on my life.

Well, I am now an official Reading Education Assistance Dog- we are certified through Intermountain Therapy Dogs and have joined the New York Public Library reading program. Starting in November, I will be helping kids to read- I can't wait!!!

Lots of business going on at home, we are going to have some renovations done at our apt, so we are heading out to Grandma and Grandpa's house in NJ for a few weeks later this month. I can't wait- Grandma always spoils me with flossies and toys- fun, fun, fun!!!

Other than that, I have been busy catching up with all my buddies at the dog park- now that summer is gone, and the wonderful Autumn weather is here, we are back on our regular schedule of playing at the park- I am soooo happy!

The Doctor is IN!

Woo hoo!!!!
Congratulations to me- I am now an official therapy dog. I graduated from the Good Dog Foundation therapy training and am now an official pet therapist!!!
There is a huge list of places to go to and I want to visit lots of them- I will help teach kids to read, help people in their physical rehab, teach kids to take pictures and visit sick people and help them in their road to recovery.


Life is so exciting!!!

Hot Summer Days.....

Wow, sure is hot here in NYC and is going to get hotter- good thing we have air conditioning!!!

Thought I would pop in with an update. Have been really busy with Therapy Dog training- I passed the basic class and now onto the advanced therapy class. Yay me!!!!

Went to the vet this weekend and got my yucky vaccinations, but the vet said I was super healthy and said I am in great shape- but I knew that.

Not too much else going on in these dog days of summer, just playing at the dog parks, visiting the Grandparents in NJ and just enjoying my summer in the city.

Happy Anniversary to Mom and Me!!!

It is one year ag0 today, that I came to live in NYC with Mom. I have to admit, I was a bit scared that day when I got with Mom into Uncle Mike's car and drove here from NJ. (I think Mom was a bit nervous too!)

But we soon settled into a great routine and now we are a happy little family!

We go to lots of parks and play, and I have lots of doggie friends. This past week we started therapy dog training, and I hope I get certified so I can visit people and cheer them up!

I am one happy pup and I got some new toys to celebrate my year with Mom!!

Yay- I love celebrations- lots of toys and treats- lets do this every year!!

I am going to be a therapy dog!!! Now I can spread my love.

Woo hoo!! I was accepted by the Good Dog Foundation to go through their therapy dog training. I am so excited to learn how to share my love with lots and lots of people!!!

I will start in June with training- Mom and I can't wait.

We have been busy here- the weather has been really crazy, hot then cold, sunny then rainy- it is just nuts! But we still have made lots of time to go to the dog park and play- my favorite thing.

Not much else to tell, May promises to be another busy month- I get to go to NJ for a visit to Grandma and Grandpa's and then I am going to stay at Camp Nancy (my doggie sitter's) for 5 days while Mom goes to a place called Vegas. I am not so sure about that- I don't think anyone will get much sleep that week.
